It might be that lower spec trucks are getting built first because they are less vulnerable to constraints.

Many “October” orders were placed by dealers in August as soon as they could be placed. Then customers came in and took over the order as sold. I think certain dealers are higher in the pecking order than others and they seem to be grouping by color a bit. Several of the trucks that were built seemed pretty well spec’ed, so it doesn’t seem to be lower specs first.
If I had to guess they did black first just cause it was monotone and easier to run before the shutdown. Jan they will roll the LEs and then go from there with other coloras. Mine is white and was originally the dealer order. It was supposed to be dec/Jan. My letter says March which is what my dealer was told in October when a delay started becoming apparent. Seems to fit the pecking order it has always been in for me.

Same here, says March. To be honest, I’m happy with that...winters r hard on trucks in buffalo, now this truck will have one less (mostly) to deal with.

The first 6 had almost every tech option.

I talked to my dealer today and one of those black trucks from day 2 is one of his. So at least with the fact the trucks out there are pretty optioned and one of them is going to my dealer, I should have some kind of build date from ordering day 2 even if it is March.

There are 2 the came out yesterday. I just posted a video about it.

As of this morning no email, no spam, and I was texting my dealer at same time everyone was getting there emails and he still seen me stuck in D. FML

I got graphic, pretty much everything but tow package. Vin 314 delivery in February

Well.. I actually got Sarah this morning and did NOT get the canned response. It appears my wishful thinking was very off base. Instead of hearing “you didn’t get the email because your truck is going on the line so soon there’s no reason to send it”, I got “your order passed edit but is not yet scheduled for build”. So in other words, if you didn’t get the email, it’s because your not even on the radar yet and based on the fact that many who got the email are being told March, those who didn’t can expect well into spring. Ordered on 8/19 have had a vin for a few months now. I am amazed at how they are looking like they will beat my personal record wait time that was 6 months on my Demon but that is certainly how it’s looking!
