Eibach lift springs

I’m running eibach rear with king shocks on all four corners. Kings were professionally tuned to the softest mode. 37x12.50R18 Yokohamas stock pressure. Factory style wheels with -12 offset. Everything runs very smoothly, don’t feel potholes at all. But one thing is definitely needed now - the hellwig rear sway bar :)

I’m going to be 1000 percent honest with you. Not sugar coating any of it. Stock is 90 percent better compared to the eibach 2.7. The only pros is the ride feeling more stable around corners.

I first had the 2.7 with stock tires and had the same issue with the speed bump topping out my right shock only but notice it was the shock nut being over torqued.(4threads is key) Fixed the topping out issue. But even with having an after market heavy bumper the ride just isn’t like stock.

You’ll most likely experience the same but not as much as the geisers. Best way to explain it; the shocks aren’t cycling as smooth compared to the stock spring. Stock every road defect gets soaked up. With the 2.7 the cloud/ spongy smooth ride goes away.

Stock tires were much better compared to the nitto at least not feeling every bump or crack on the road.

Nitto ridge grapplers make it that much worse. The ride is smooth and amazing on the highway and much quieter. Once you start hitting local roads…potholes, bumps and cracks you tend to feel it much more compared to stock.

Im currently running the nittos at 30psi all around which helped compared to 35psi when first installed. At 35 psi it felt like my tires were rocks.

I have taken on speed bumps with the current setup and it’s just trash. Doesn’t soak it up like it used to. It’s much more rough.

I already pulled the trigger so no turning back for me at least for now. But I’ll most likely transfer the ridge grapplers over to the stock non bead lock wheels and maybe sell them.

Order a set of stock tires 35s for the bead lock and change out the springs to the 1.6 that I have stored away in storage. This should bring back some better shock absorption.

Or maybe keep the tires as is for now and just go with the 1.6 since they’ll still clear the 37s. I will miss the truck being leveled. But I honestly prefer the rake look and be able to have the shocks work right.
Thanks for the honest no BS review. That’s about what I expected. The comfort of the stock suspension was so nice. I too have the Nittos and they’re rough with the Geisers. I do like the planted feeling with highway driving but dips, bumps and potholes are just so harsh. I love the look of 37’s with the lift. Seriously debating going back to stock at this point. But the truck looks so damn good haha.

Good Morning guys, we just got some fresh inventory on Eibach Springs, be sure to use the forum discount code (RAMTRX) if you need a set: https://justboltons.com/search-results-page?q=Eibach ram TRX&page=1&rb_brand=Eibach

I am running the 1.6" fronts with the foutz rear spacer but the rear is a tad lower when loaded so I am debating on switching to these Heavy Duty rears (anyone else have feedback on those?): https://justboltons.com/eibach-pro-...-duty-for-2021-2024-ram-trx-e30-27-012-03-02/

How do you like the front 1.6”? I’ve read some not good reviews on the way the 2.6” ride. I have a set of 1.6 fronts but haven’t installed yet. Since I tow a heavy trailer from time to time I was thinking of doing the rear 1.5”. How would that compare to these HD rear springs

The 1.6” have been great, over 20k miles on them. Highway, Long Trips and City Driving. I am definitely leaning towards the heavy duty rears (over the standard Eibach upgrade) as I tow and really use the bed of the TRX for anything from wheels / tires to palm trees to luggage and coming soon a ton of baby stuff.

I just switched my front springs from Geiser 3.0” to Eibach 1.6” last week specifically for the ride quality. Just put 1500 miles on them and can confirm it feels so much better than the taller spring I had installed before. I left the Geiser 1.5” spring installed in the rear because I do load the bed up from time to time and would prefer to not sag in the rear. Still running 37” tires just fine as well. The 3” lift definitely looked better and more aggressive but it was such a harsh ride for my personal preference. I’ll post a pic of how it looks now compared to the 3” Geiser springs.

Thanks for the feedback. Glad to hear the 1.6 ride good. I hate to ruin the ride of this truck.

Just a question here. I've been thinking of putting a lift kit on my trx , I'm leaning towards the eibach. What i want to know has anyone had issues or had to change out the factory rear panard bar to an adjustable one after the lift was installed
Thanks for any suggestions or ideas

I have your same set up but I just bought the Timber Grove air bag set up. Supposed to leave 3-5 psi in them which will add an inch or 2 to the rear height. I’m gonna go ahead and remove the rear spacers. I’ll post some pics when done. My boat sags the ass of this truck pretty bad as is.

Very nice! I've heard good things about that as well. Keep us posted.

I noticed you have the ridge grapplers as well. Would you say the ride feels much better almost like stock? Are small bumps and potholes much smoother? Does it feel like the shocks are cycling better compared to the 3” Geiger lift?

I have the heavy duty springs in the rear, IMO the ride is better than stock especially if you are towing or the bed is loaded up. I was most assuredly over payload last summer on one trip and could barely tell there was anything back there.

I *also* own the Timber Grove air bags, but I’ve not installed them. Has anyone done both?

Steve at TimberGrove recommends 3psi in the Gen2 when not in use. He says it lifts about 5/8 inch. Much less than gen1. The ride is better also in my opinion with gen2. Nothing negative about them but I have only had them with a Hellwig sway bar
