Driveshaft clunk explanation

Race car has race parts that make race part noises. Just the nature of the beast. ☺️ People that think this is unacceptable should probably just go buy a Lexus or something. These things need maintenance. Not really a lot of maintenance per se, compared to other high performance vehicles. Just because you paid $XX,XXX for a "truck" doesn't matter. You'll find as the price goes up, on ANYTHING, the maintenance and "headaches" usually increase as well. Buy an aircraft once.... or a boat for that matter. 🤑

For goodness’ sake, whatever you do, DONT buy King shocks or upgrade anything if this little clunky driveshaft bothers you. We really don't want to hear about how you think the new shocks are noisy and somehow not built right. 😭

Anyway, I've got the clunk. Stock driveshaft. I'll just be crawling under there and pulling the boot to grease 'er up once a year or so. No biggie. (y)

No clunk here anymore. Mine was pretty chronic, so this was a no brainer. One and done. Complete with billet flanges.

Is the clunk a maintenance item? Or just a shit design? Been awhile since I looked in the TRX recommended maintenance manual but I don’t remember seeing drive shaft lubrication in there.

I have the clunk and I just let it clunk away.
