Haha. Fishing trip with buddies last weekend and I am drinking a beer and say “I’ve only had 3 drinks so far today”. My buddy points to the clock and it says 8:35amHa! I start cracking beers at 11am on weekends.....
. In my defense. The first 2 were coffee with Baily’s and a bloody, so they don’t really count.

The high volume liquor store I frequent just got this back in. This is one of the best sub 30 dollar bourbons out there....IMHO! Great butterscotch and sweet cherry backbone! Enjoy the night all!

Sorry for the absence folks. If you’ve never had the joys of passing kidney stones with an acute kidney infection, you’re missing out. A week in the hospital on morphine, antibiotics and who knows what else, this has been one of the most painful ordeals I’ve ever dealt with. Did I mention I haven’t had a sip of whiskey in over a week? It just doesn’t seem right. I have, however, become a bit of a morphine snob and you can expect a full brand breakdown once I get my notes together.
I’m planning on getting discharged later today so if I don’t have a toast with you tonight I’ll plan on raising a glass this coming weekend.

I'm so sorry J, having had a kidney stone I can fully empathize. They didn't have enough morphine in the hospital to stop the pain. eventually they did a lithotripsy to fix it. Probably the worst week of my life. 
Here's a constructive tip ... use versed to transition from morphine to whiskey, or if you're feeling adventurous, versed AND whiskey.
Had a dental procedure the other day that they twilighted me with versed, I was still flying when I got home and took a shot of Yellowstone 101 ... boy oh boy that was fun, at least that's what mrs soulsea tells me cause I don't recall much.
