Picked up truck. Officially says leak was found in seam of radiator on passenger side. Radiator replaced.
The other thing I was thinking, if you had a blown head gasket or some sort of leaking of coolant into the cylinders, I would think it would show up as a rough idle or engine misfire (at least occasionally) and probably start throwing codes.That's kinda my thing. Idk if I'm just more aware when when comes on now or I'm paranoid. I will just continue to monitor levels more frequently.
What part number of fluid did you add to your supercharger coolant reservoir?I started hearing fan come on at what seemed like interesting times. Had taken in for oil change at dealer about a month before. About a month ago I was in a parking lot with engine on and hot light came on. I started driving and temp came down. Checked coolant next morning very low, added 1/2 gallon of coolant to max line. Now about a month later seems like it at min line. But it was after about a 10min drive. I will check again after engine cools.
