Colorado TRX Owners

Well, I would be in my Raptor and I'm afraid I might get treated like a leper.........:D

(Totally joking BTW)
I was in your same shoes before mine showed up haha. Raptor is still fun! Mine was tuned on E85 with a small spring lift.

Circling the wagons........classic....I actually drive a 2012 right now. Had a 2018 but "sold" it to my son-in-law. Great trucks and I have enjoyed both of these Raptors for sure. Still, looking forward to becoming a TRX owner!! Appreciate the invitation.......even if I have to sit in the middle!! :ROFLMAO:

What are the odds, TRX behind me and 3rd gen raptor behind it. All driving down the road and decided to pull and pass at the exact same time. About 20K lbs of douchbaggery rolling together ( I use that word with love)

People with TRX's being around each other at the same time??? Definitely rare. If you didn't have a picture of it I wouldn't believe you.

Thought I would give a shout out to two companies I recently used in the Denver area that did a great job with my TRX. The first was Colorado Car Audio, they installed IGLA and they did an awesome job. It’s nice being able to sleep at ease because my truck sits in the driveway at night. The second is Mile High Customs who just wrapped the entire truck with a matte PPF. These guys definitely know what they are doing. Turned out amazing. Pics to come as soon as the weather cooperates.

What did Mile High Customs charge? I recently inquired about PPF and Ceramic for my Anderaon Composites hood and they wanted $1,500. Seemed a little pricey and then they stopped communicating so I didn't use them, but several people have said they are good.

They wrapped my wife’s AMG coupe a few months back so I received a nice discount from them for the repeat business. It’s not the cheapest price out there but they do solid work and back their install if any problems arise. They gave me a 10 year warranty on the PPF install and also added the ceramic coating for free. Without the discount I believe they quoted $8,000 for the entire vehicle.

What did the IGLA installation cost?

Had my TRX wrapped with PPF Stealth and 2 coats of ceramic at Denver Auto Spa for $8500. Spendy but they did an amazing job. I've had the truck for 18 months with 24,000 miles and it still looks mint.

I recently bought a new Durango RT. Didn't want to spend $8500 so I just went with ceramic coating. I had it done at Obsidian Ceramic Coating, mainly because the reviews were good and it was less than a mile from the dealer I bought the Durango from. Cost was $700. Looks great but will see how it holds up.Shop.webp

Man I really want to stealth wrap mine, but assume I'm not going to recoup any of that cost. I only keep my trucks about 5 years and have seen very little depreciation in them. Assume this would be a sunk cost.

I'm going to ceramic coat for sure though this time.

A lot of it depends on how you use your truck. I use mine a lot for hunting and run a lot of miles on poor roads. I hauled an elk out of the mountains with it last fall. The paint would have been a scratched up mess without the wrap. If I was using the truck mainly for city/highway I might not have spent the dough on the wrap, even though I love the look.

Completely agree. I've always babied my trucks. got the raptor out once in tough off-roading and the scratches make me crazy. I'm thinking of getting an 4 door ate for off-roading tough stuff

Almost done. Two hours out. At least it’s broken in.

Congrats and looks a lot like the one I ordered!!! Still no build date but I was an October order, so not surprised........😒

Lots of similar TRXes our there. so trying to differentiate a little.
