Check your 27 Trx’s!!

It was present on both TRXs I’ve owned so I am used to it and I find it aesthetically appealing… should have been communicated that it would no longer be applied after 7/15, not that it’s a deal breaker… just another example of a maker doing whatever they want and keeping the consumer in the dark…

Not for nothing, it does provide ever so much of a little more paint protection…

This reminds me of the change made to the late 2022 and 2023-up models where they removed the rear door lights but somehow kept the wiring in there so that owners could add the lights themselves.

Hi everyone, we've discussed with the TRX team, and they let us know the following:

The Mopar Hood Black-Out Decal (defined by sales code MYU) was removed as an option for the 2027 TRX beginning on 7/15/26. There may be some trucks out there that have the decal because of their earlier build dates, but anything built 7/15 or later will not have the option.

We apologize for the confusion regarding this feature. If you have any other questions, please let us know.

Super unfortunate- the truck looks worse without it. Tell the TRX Team I bought mine on 6/25 anticipating my would come with it. Also Tell me where I can send the the receipt for the costs associated with adding this aftermarket. BTW... it still shows up on your configurator ....

For anyone wanting the hood decal, here’s a link to where I bought mine. Replaced it in 2022 after I had my truck ppf’d. So 4 years and it’s still going strong. No fading or peeling.

Every 2027 RHO I’ve seen online still has the decal. Not sure if Ram also omitted it on them after 7/15 but every one Ive seen has it still. Makes zero sense

True, the color doesn't affect performance, but it does affect how I can use the vehicle's performance. I want my vehicles to go as unnoticed as possible, so if I ended up with a red one it'd have to be driven a bit differently than a Granite or white one.

Either way, I hope it shows up without the hood decal since that's my preference. But if I wanted to have the decal it'd be easy enough to add one.

Also, there are several things on a TRX I would rather it didn't have, including what used to be options, so I'd be perfectly happy to receive it without those things, even though I paid for them. I'd even be willing to pay a bit extra not to get them.

It's just a sticker but is a sticker that was part of the package when you ordered your car.

It's just a sticker but is a sticker that was part of the package when you ordered your car.

I wouldn't mind one bit if all the badges, and especially the TRX and SRT ones were missing. Same with the floormats, a few other things, and maybe even the rear seat.

I have no idea if that decal was part of the package when ordering. Didn't go though the code guide in such detail. Got three options; paint color, 29Q, and a tonneau cover. That was already more than enough.

That made me think it was about the color choice.

But speaking of learning to live without...I would definitely not mind if they forgot to activate the 118 mph limiter. Yet another thing I could do without.
