This was my answer. I have the red accents, so it actually looks factory. The fit is far from perfect, but it isn't bad, and for $20 has saved my arm from many brandings. Might be worth the try for some of you.

It is extremely easy to get reupholstered, I absolutely love the alcántara, so much that I added custom pillars and headliner. All about how you see the cup.. half Empty or hall full

I'm really surprised the suede headliner wasn't already a factory option. I loved having it on my Charger.

I don't mind it other places, but it's not good on the armrest. I set a coffee thermos cup there one time, I guess, because I now have a ring that won't come out.

Also, now that summer is here, I can say that I've been a victim of the badge branding as well. That son of a bitch hurts. Not really related, but you know what else has got me too? The automatic door lock. Has anyone else had that happen? I start to drive, and my left arm is on the sill, and the autolock kicks in and feels like it rips the skin off my arm. It's because the door lock has little grooves in it, though I'm not sure why, since it is below the height of the sill when locked, so you can't grab it anyways.

The door lock hasn't bit me yet (current Bighorn), but it drew blood on my wife's arm twice and my brother once. I turned it off because of it. My wife was a little butt hurt because it was only after it bit my brother's arm that I turned it off.

the base model TRX doesn’t have the suede on it, but I’m pretty sure it doesn’t have leather either. Vinyl and pleather. However that doesn’t fix the hot trx badge.

I bought this neoprene cover that I keep on my center console when I have my dogs in the car, my Vizsla has nails a size of Cardi B. It’s not expensive and it actually looks nice and it’s comfortable. PS: also protects it from french fry grease and In-N-Out Burger drippage

How’s it fit? I was looking to get soemthing like this for when I take my 5lb shorkey for car rides. I just don’t want her to f the console lid up with her nails and was going to look for a flexible cover for it.

Doesn’t just pop off, but you can get them off and back on. You have to take the inside plastic out of the lid revealing the 3 studs. They are held on with starlock internal tooth washers.
