Bright White RAM TRX Photo Thread

Nice rigs, Fellas! Great photos. The Bright White is just perfect for this beast of a truck in the urban jungle: Decent camouflage, as it can ALMOST blend in, minimizing sniper fire or radar guns on the freeway. Here in the SW, light colored vehicles (whites, silvers and the like) are so numerous on the road due to the intense summer heat. Recently, I also found another camouflage advantage. Can't find a quick and convenient parking spot on a quick mission in the city? The Bright White fits right in with the white work trucks of road or water repair, construction, electric grid repair, etc. Just park right there. Works great here in AZ.
I have a secret dump/recycling spot near my house at Stanford college, Sign on the entry road say Maintenance vehicles only. No one has even questioned it. Flying low key under the radar!!!

After all the stuff I read online about bad paint on these trucks, I have to say it’s better than my raptor that wasn’t covered in the door jambs and shines up nice. Plus there is very little orange peel.

I never heard anything about bad paint on this truck. I'm a Beemer guy and totally picky. One aspect I was looking at was the quality of the black rocker line of paint. Just flawless, at least for me impressive. I did a Ceramic Pro Gold over it and even my Chisos heels banging on them make no difference to the ever-sheen. Pretty sweet.

Back home today! Phoenix AZ to Granger IA... 3000 mile roundtrip/four days. Traded our 2021 CTD 2500.

Took my 5yr old "Magnus" who volunteered months ago & proved a great co-Pilot. Took this pic in Kansas during the 500 mile break-in (he understood the reasoning/lost patience a few times but loved the later results!). Will make a thread of entire trip and comparisons with 2500 (interior/cab) and past Raptors (2014/2017).

Magnus voted for white too during the Oct. 2021 order! 🙂

The old Ram Big Horn and the New TRX. I sold the Big Horn to a buddy who was looking for a slightly used truck. We got the trucks together for the first time since I got the new beast last weekend. The Big Horn treated me right for 67k miles, but it doesn’t even compare in power, interior or overall looks of the TRX. The TRX is on another level! My buddy took the TRX for a little ride and he couldn’t believe how smooth, the whine and how fast it was. He already called dibs to buy the TRX when I am done with it, but that won’t be for a very long time because I am not planning on being lame and going hybrid/electric… ever!

Black skid plate looks good against the white! Is that the aftermarket or did you paint it?

I really like the contrast between the bright white paint and the black lower body and some of the cowling parts, etc. That was a good reason I went with white. When I see the posted pictures I know it was the right choice for me.

I agree 100%! White isn’t the most exciting color for a normal car/truck, but think it looks fantastic on the TRX with the black accents. It looks awesome in pictures, but way better in person.
