Baer but nobody has done it yet and you need 20’sI can already tell, a brake upgrade is in the future.. I looked at brembo and wildwood and there is nothing really on the books for the Trx. Anyone have any intel on brake upgrades?
ParachuteBest bet....
Boat anchor.

Same as the anchor ideaRosie O....nvm
You have to drop the anchor. My idea doesn't need brakes if you can't move forward.Same as the anchor idea
Wait. I have an idea. Build a deployable air brake in the bed. On hard braking it pops up then down under throttle. Just like the 720 but way bigger. You have to drop the anchor. My idea doesn't need brakes if you can't move forward.

I’m only doing wheels if it’s needed for brake kit. I like the stocks. May powdercoat different color but thats allThere are multiple threads on this, all pointing to a great group buy on some kind of upgrade kits.
1. Big brake kit for those that have larger rims.
2. Better brake kit for those that run stock (upgraded rotors, brake lines, fluid).
I bought Jackson's stock tires/rims so I am doubled down on them. Need someone more brake savvy than me to come up with a kit to buy for stock upgrade.I’m only doing wheels if it’s needed for brake kit. I like the stocks. May powdercoat different color but thats all
Make the lines and fluid change now. I’d probably go to more aggressive coarse pad but it will almost certainly squeal.I bought Jackson's stock tires/rims so I am doubled down on them. Need someone more brake savvy than me to come up with a kit to buy for stock upgrade.
I was hoping variable had done it and was going to.post recommendations. I will start looking into it. I’m doing the fluid on 21st. See if that makes a diff. Then lines to see the impact of both. Lines normally just firm up the pedal but its nice so instead of the stock lines expanding under heat, SS gives you better pedal feedback as to what’s happeningI was hoping variable had done it and was going to.post recommendations. Cool. Keep us posted. I've done a lot of mods but never touched brakes (usually came with the cars - cross drilled rotors, etc). It is time.I’m doing the fluid on 21st. See if that makes a diff. I think I could make them totally acceptable to 99% of drivers with a slotted rotor, lines, fluid, medium aggressive pad to not squeal all the time. If that isn’t good enough you need stronger calipers which will basically never fit the stock wheels so means full assembly upgrades and 20’sCool. Keep us posted. Do they fit the truck?Hawk and EBC have always made pretty stout performance pads that are no noise and low dust.
Great question! Nothing a dremmel can't fix lol.Do they fit the truck?
