That’s what I thought plus it says 8k discount then you look at sticker and it’s honestly 1k over msrp for almost a 2 year old truck. Something stinks in suburbia. One of my friends bought one last week from another dealership because he says he just got “bad vibe” from the guy he spoke to at Granger. Only went 2 hours from home but saved 7k more than comparable truck from Granger. It’s cool they are a forum sponsor but they definitely have changed over past couple years.
Technically Granger is offering 8k off of the 2023 MSRP. so you are saving 16-18k verses the same truck for 2024 I believe. Most Trucks posted come with the Tyrant performance package(A Dealer installed Tune and pulley package that has a 3rd party warranty). Zach said this on his first post. Package was developed by a reputable tuner and adds about 100hp to stock. This package is 9K. So that is why truck is 1k over original MSRP. If you want a Tuned Truck with a warranty you are saving 16-18k vs a 2024. If you want a stock Truck your options via grainger may be slim and you may need to look elsewhere. I don't think Granger is hiding anything and the Math appears to pencil out. The Tyrant may just not be for everyone. They delivered 2023's up intill maybe a month ago so you are not getting a two year old truck plus it is still 2023. People on this Forum were asking Granger for a dealer installed performance package. Granger produced the Tyrant. It seems to be a solid package and is well reviewed.
Don’t disagree about the age of the truck or deal over the 24. But dealer tune is obviously a forced money maker on the consumer. If you want to give us choice offer the tyrant package as a secondary option for those who want it. Not knocking them but as a buyer I don’t like it.
Undecided till I see the actual truck. We might all be surprised who knows. I’ll admit the constant fill ups do get old quick. Was thinking about getting something else for a daily.
Looking back at ordering a 2021. You could get a basic Level 2 for $80k MSRP!
And a 3 year and 36,000 mile powertrain warranty coverage (which can be upgraded to longer terms at an additional charge).
Can you tell me if anyone has had ANY issues with the Tyrant Performance package? I am trying to work a deal out with you all this evening and always concerned when people start messing with options other than factory installed. Also trying to figure out the transportation to Florida if we work out a deal.
Had one for a year. Truck was a dream. Only issue was a thermostat problem in the cold which was fixed with a quick tune adjustment over wifi with blue tooth programmer in the OBD port. I’m sure that has been worked out now and a non issue if you are in Florida. I wouldn’t hesitate to have another Tyrant. Granger and Nth moto were great to work with

I too bought/ordered (in Jan 23) a 2023 RAM TRX - Level 2 - Tyrant Performance Package from Granger RAM which I received it in Sept. I was wanting more HP with a warranty. It was my fist modification of a long list to come. (See my mod list below). My TRX currently has 1800 miles on it and runs beautifully. I would do it again if I was buying a 2024 model.
