BD LP6's Behind the Grille now Available!

Sweet. This forum is the best! Any idea how long it takes to update? The service rep said, assuming they could find the right BCM, that it'd take 60-90 minutes to update.
Just noticed that TSB is for 2021 models. Anyone know if this also applies to 2022 or if there is a separate TSB?

Mine is a 22 and mine got fixed. Idk if it was part of the TSB or not

My dealer sucks up here. “There is no such tsb. Yours is working as designed”

I swear. Unless I have the document and the fix spelled out.

Stellantis you really need to do better monitoring your dealer service network.

I believe @Boosted is still out at SEMA, so hopefully someone else here has done this install and can provide input on where to cut the wiring harness (4 wires at each connector)to splice in the extension wires (2 wires)...

I've got all the tools (plastic rivet remover, heat gun, 7" drill bit, etc) laid out on my garage floor, ready to get these lights installed and I just need clarification on where to cut the wiring harness and add in the wire extension... Anyone else here done the install?

The wire extensions as shown in your last picture are for the windshield washer reservoir relocation. See step 8 in the main installation guide that came with the Behind the Grille kit.

Here was the confusion. Seems step 8 is not applicable here.

Once you remove your grill your washer bottle is exposed. Disconnect one of the connections on the bottle base. Remove some of the tape near the end of the plug “ about 4”. Cut and splice the new wire to that. Note wire colors. Repeat white the next wire. The end you cut off is going to reattach to the other side of the new cable. Each plug is different. Just remember the first plug wiring colors you pull and the wire you connected it to. Mark it with a piece of tape so you know that that wire goes back into that terminal.

Also you didn’t have to remove the wiring. You are only extending it. I routed mine through the soft material around the radiator along with the other wiring. I harnessed it and tie strapped it with the existing wiring.

Theses are the two connectors you will be cutting and connecting the wire in the kit to. The plugs now get installed on the other end of the wire from the kit. Make sure you don’t cut it too close to the plug. 4-6”

No no no! Your picture shows part of the wiring harness for the lights. The wires he is referring to is to extend the windshield washer reservoir pump and level indicator wires which is required when relocating the windshield washer reservoir.

Did anyone ever figure out the connector PN’s? So we could build an extension harness so we wouldn’t have to splice?

I haven’t installed mine yet because I’m lazy

Yep. I talked to Bill at Brawler Fab. Though step 8 doesn’t say which harness, I was so focused on the light so I thought it was that harness

I've been working on making this kit plug and play since December of last year but thanks to RAM/Mopar and their proprietary crap, the other ends of those connectors are not available. Fortunately I did find someone who can custom make the connectors for me, it's just going to take a while before I actually have them in hand.

I suggest you skip step 6..... right @TReX-RAM ??? 😂

Oops, I didn’t look close enough.
Removed pic, it’s a different kit than what I have.
