BD LP6's Behind the Grille now Available!

if you are connecting DRL to Aux 1, how do you get your DRL to come on all the time without having to push the Aux 1 every time you get in the truck?

Except it don’t work on mine! I need to have the BCM updated to fix it. Just no time yet!

In Uconnect settings under switches.
I thought that's a known feature that none of the Aux switches will come back on when you restart truck (even though there is a setting for it)? Was there a software fix?

There is a BCM update that fixes it at the dealer

Yea mine works after the update.

Still been busy?
Yeah had a week of nice weather and had a couple equipment replacements I put bandaids on over summer now we are supposed to be in the 30’s next couple nights. Ready for a break! Lol

Does dealer charge to update BCD?
Haven’t had time to get it done, but I would imagine they can’t since it is the fix for aux switch to remember the last state it was in so you don’t have to turn it on every time you get in the truck like it is supposed to work. I’m not gonna let them charge me for fixing something broke haha

Is this for MY 22 as well?

Here is a quick and dirty description of how this works… I’ll be posting wire diagrams on all of this shortly, once my lights all get installed…

Tap the parking light fuse position #11. Run this to a 4 Pin relay to power the Amber backlight.

If you want high beam only, then just connect directly to the Aux switch wire. If you want low and high, best to use a five pin relay, this way power is only going to either the low or the high at any given time. You can tap your high beams for this or burn a second Aux switch.

Aux 1 powers terminal 30 on the relay
Ground - Terminal 85
Aux 2 or High Beam Tap connects to terminal 86 (low current)
Low beam wire to terminal 87a
High Beam wire to 87

As far as I know yes
Is there a way to check this before lights are installed?

I have not had time to install my kit yet. I am not seeing a break in my schedule until late December.

If I get a week off I am headed to the shock company to test new shocks for the trx. So the lights will be put on hold

I would assume you can go to the Aux settings and set for remember last state and cycle power and see if it still puts out a 12v signal from the Aux wire under the hood. If it does you are good. Or the light should probably come back on the Aux switch also I would assume.

Mine is a 22’ February build and mine doesn’t work

I just called my local dealer/service shop. They aren't familiar with the BCM update. Does anyone have specifics on the update so I can share with my service shop?

Here you go!

Sweet. This forum is the best! Any idea how long it takes to update? The service rep said, assuming they could find the right BCM, that it'd take 60-90 minutes to update.
