I gotta tell you guys because I can’t tell the ricers, but my new raptor is off the train car and on its way to the dealership, about 60 miles away!
hmmmm, I wonder if it takes 2 cycle gas?

Did you get the 37 Package? I had a Gen3 on order with that package, but could not figure out what that interior really would look like. I'm very glad I made the move to the TRX, but still liked my '20 Raptor. If you did get that package, many I think would like to hear your opinion on it.

I know it’s not a T-Rex, but it’s here!
I drove it and it’s loud in the Baja exhaust setting, but unfortunately it still sounds like an outboard. Other than the sound it’s a nice truck.

All this “comparison” banter that goes beyond facts (favoring either vehicle) is too much for me. I wonder how much Busch light was consumed during that threads life time. Hell, I needed a smoke after just reading it! I hope Ford delivers 700+ hp with the R, cause competition is good for the auto market.

I purposely didn’t want 37’s because I was afraid it would be a dog with the taller tires.
I have/had a hd3500 duramax with 18” 285 duratracks and a friend has the same truck with 20” 265 all seasons and my truck was considerably quicker with the shorter tires.
So no 37’s for me.

Congrats. The new front end is growing on me. Wish they were more creative with newer rim designs but still a very nice truck.

IMO the worst part of the truck appears to be the exhaust.
I admit I’m not a v6 guy, but it just sounds lousy to me. It’s surprising loud in the Baja setting and the sound is almost embarrassing. It’s like when you fart in an elevator, you don’t want to admit you did it! This is the first v6 I’ve owned so maybe they all sound weak, I don’t know.
Anyway, the rest of the truck seems ok and I’ll know more after we spend a little time together

Maybe your buddy has had v6s before, I never have. I’m sure I will like the truck, seems like most people that have had them liked them.
