Baja Designs OnX6+ Light Bar Install

Yes they are making them. They have my truck and are finalizing it all and install today. I pick it up within the hour. If they say it's OK I'll post pics of the kits in final production fourm.
Sorry I did not see your last few posts asking for greenlight. Go ahead and share whatever you'd like on these ones (y)

Howdly Doodly TRX friends. I have a little sneak peak at the LP bumper kit and another S8 kit alternative to the existing lower grille offering currently available.

Both these kits have gone to production, so I should have more info for you soon.

HUGE thank you the @ccalomino for letting us work with his truck for the past few weeks. I got to take it out for a few photos last night and wow these are nicely designed trucks. I much preferred it to some of the other performance trucks I've scooted around lately. I treated it very gently, btw mr. ccalomino :)

Sorry BD, I'm not a fan. I ran your lights on my Gen 1 and Gen 2 Raptor and I have your 20" light bar in my lower TRX grill right now. These would look so much better behind the grill IMO. The exposed brackets and nuts/bolts kill it for me. It does not look factory. Just giving you one guy's feedback, I do not intend to offend you.

No offense taken at all. Everyone has different tastes which is why we try to design different options. I personally tend to prefer sleek and subtle like you, but I know plenty of people go wild for the more "in your face" kits, which is why our XL Linkable and A-pillar kits have been so popular lately.

From my understanding there was not enough space to fit the LPs behind the grille as they will be blocked/impacted by the windshield fluid reservoir. Looks like you already have the behind the grille S8 kit which should give a pretty healthy amount of light as is. If you don't already have them, the fog replacement kit may be an option for you.

I got your LP6’s to fit behind the grille. BTW, great lights and yes we sell them. 😎

Thaks for posting pic's Chris. Your shots are way better than the ones my phone would have done. Lol glad you approved of the truck. She is definitely alot of fun.

Wanted to say thanks to you and your crew. Chris M for being on point logistics, feedback & scheduling. Chris really went out of his way to take care of me. Cody for the engineering and solid install. Lastly thank you Chris for the opportunity to work with BD and help bring these kits to fellow enthusiasts. I really wasn't expecting anything more than a thanks for letting us use your truck for mock up. BD did me a solid and I'm super grateful 👍

I'll shoot some night shots of the field of view tomorrow night. I tested them tonight and I need to do some adjustments to get everything lined up. Here is a quick day shot I took b4 the rain when I picked up the truck.

They are YUGE! lol

@BajaDesigns do you guys sell the brackets only for the Onx6 20" BEHIND THE BUMPER KIT? And how much shipping time would it normally take to boing factory in San Antonio TX? Or Houston?

Can you please make some comments on the orientation of the wiring? IE did they put the backlights of the S8 to the same switch as the backlights of the LP9? Do the LP9s have a backlight, low and high setting?

Thanks! Looks great!

Dave

I didn't wire it up but. The back light to the lp9's runs on a separate aux switch than the aux switch for main high output for lp9's. Due to time constraints wiring the back light to the parking lights on the truck wasn't able to happen but it can be done without a aux switch I believe.

Thanks. Did they run the backlight to the S8 to a separate switch still, or to the same aux switch as the LP9 backlight? Just curious!

If you want the amber backlighting to turn on with the truck ignition, you need an add-a fuse splice to fuse #37 in the engine compartment fuse box.
