Anyone with TREX or Hellcat side badges?

This has got me thinking...

We have a Ram with the 6.4 engine. Maybe I should put Scat Pack badging on it?
392 would be the badging to go with the Ram 6.4. I don’t think it’s an SRT on the HD’s. They’re similar but different components. Scat Pack is a package on Charger/Challenger. The scat pack package comes with the SRT 392 engine. Scat Pack is not the engine… TRX is in the SRT family

Good points, lcarrasco212. It's just that it looks like any other 3500, so the only way to tell it from a 5.7 or diesel is by the badges.

Much like a Hellcat, come to think of it. Since they're virtually indistinguishable from their lesser counterparts, they have badges that show that they cost upwards of four times more, and have much better performance.

Too bad that there's no way to tell a TRX from a regular V6 1500. Well, it does say "TRX" on them. And they do look a little different. But maybe it does require extra badging to make a TRX differ a bit?

. . .I'm completely de-badging mine and leaving only the RAM on the tailgate and Hellcat emblems on the front door panels.

I did go with the Red Hellcat (SRT) emblem on mine, as it is a representation of the engine is how I see it. I guess some have not looked at the badge on the blower under the hood of their trucks. As you can see, I also went with the Red "R" on the rear qtr panel. Of course I have a lot of engine mods to support the red accents and antagonize others on the road in an attempt to show them up when I have the chance.
Where did you buy that bedside decal? I need that!

I have them, decided against installing them. Looks cleaner without.

I actually purchased them on eBay. The finish matches perfect and you have to make sure that it is the same size as the factory decals. I replaced both black and red decals so that they were exactly the same spacing, finish and size. Just used the red “R” and discarded the rest of them.

Hi @BigRay! Are you able to do these in matte black? Same color as OEM RAM badge? I have decided to hold on the door emblems, but definitely would like to get these in matte to get rid of the red color

Yes I can make them the Matte black color!

Random people at the gas station, “is that the Ram with the Hellcat engine” Me, yes it is sir”. Random people, “can I check it out and see the engine”. Me, “of course”. With the decal on now they will know and will just ask to see the see the engine. Trying to make the process of showing it off more efficient. Haha.

Semantics.

The 'thing' that makes the challenger, charger, or durango a 'hellcat' is the motor. The badging on the (hellcat) vehicles match the logo on the motor, which (see below) is exactly what is in a TRX.

Agree, It looks like a hellcat engine to me! In my opinion, the truck should’ve came with a hellcat badge, but understand that Ram is trying to be its own entity from Dodge. I don’t care what people or enthusiasts call it a Ram, Dodge, Hellcat, or a beautiful white unicorn, I love this thing and believe it’s the biggest baddest stock truck you can buy! People that don’t think so….line up and I will show them. Haha!

I dunno. I just bought a stock one that's quite a bit larger, and weighs 38,000 lbs.
It's not here yet, but I sure hope it's not bad, let alone baddest.

38,000 lbs? I don’t think that’s right, it’s more like 6,300-6,400lbs.

Finally got around to taking pics of the Hellcat logo. Put them on my truck the week I got it.
