Anyone with TREX or Hellcat side badges?

Here is my badging placement. I kind of wanted to mimic the placement of the old engine badging on the four gen with something unique.

I plan to put my hellcat redeye emblems about the A on my door. I purchased them already. My truck goes into the shop the week of the 19th for PPF, Ceramic Coating, Rusting Proofing, and Underbody coating. That is when they are going to install mine and then put PFF and Ceramic Coating over the top of them.

Can't wait to see how these turnout.

. . .but it has the Hellcat engine.
Well, so does a Trackhawk. But that still doesn't make it a Dodge, or a Hellcat.

Along the same lines. my Peterbilt is just that, a Peterbilt, even though it has a Cat engine. And just to be clear, that's as in Caterpillar, not Hellcat.

I would like to show my original t-rex emblem design to give you a very popular option. I can make these in any color you want including color matched. (here is a very small amount of styles/colors I make)

let me know what you think!

Wow..I'll definitely be getting a pair of these off you when my truck gets here

. . .still doesn’t separate the fact the motor is a Hellcat. So what? Just like someone putting any other product emblem or decal on the back window when they use that particular product on their vehicle, they’re just representing what’s on or being used by their vehicle.

Like you never wore a t-shirt with a logo or name on it that isn’t you right?

Ram doesn't call it a Hellcat engine, and neither do I.
Heck, I don't even call my Hellcat a Hellcat, just Challenger.
. . .to each their own - whether or not RAM calls it a Hellcat or not, it's indeed a Hellcat motor period. Bottom line, everyone has their preferences and wants to make their "toy" unique.

Still better than putting a fin on a Honda thinking it's gonna add HP.

...because when one sees a TRX the first thing that comes to mind is "hellcat" ....
Are you sure?

But it would be great if someone made T-rex emblems for the TRXs, as an alternative to the Dodge (specific models) emblems.

Semantics.

The 'thing' that makes the challenger, charger, or durango a 'hellcat' is the motor. The badging on the (hellcat) vehicles match the logo on the motor, which (see below) is exactly what is in a TRX.

Oh, is that how it is? I need to read up on this stuff, improving on getting influenced by articles written by people who can't quite keep their facts straight.

So far I have foolishly relied on what Dodge and Ram calls the vehicles they produce, and (to some extent) the badges they come with.

Apparently I also need to get more in tune with what people think their vehicles identify as.

Isn't it true that TRX does not stand for nor was meant to imply Tyrannosaurus Rex? If so, I'm not sure why a dino head is more acceptable than a hellcat badge. 🧐

If it's all open to interpretation, I'm pissed I didn't have a logo of this on my Raptor.

Yes, it IS a Hellcat engine in the TRX. The only reason that RAM won't call the engine in a TRX a Hellcat, is because RAM is trying to distinguish itself from Dodge as a separate distinct division. The trucks are no longer Dodge Rams. The Hellcat designation was used by Dodge products and again, RAM is trying to distinguish itself from Dodge.

Bottom line: The TRX has a Hellcat engine (complete with Hellcat markings) and only RAM (and a few on this forum) choose not to acknowledge that fact. For RAM it's because of branding. What's your excuse?

I have an SRT badge for my rex🤣🍿

That is appropriate as that is how RAM describes the Engine on a TRX Order sheet AND on the Window Stickers:

SALES CODEDESCRIPTION
DT6S981500 TRX CREW CAB 4X4 (144.5 in WB 5 FT 7 IN box)
ESD6.2L Supercharged HEMI V8 SRT Engine

I put Hellcat emblems on my 21 TRX and then did the same on my 22 TRX. I’ll put whatever badge on it I want. But that’s just me. I do think the Hellcat belongs because of the engine
. . .agree. Just like putting other decals/emblems on your ride representing what's on or being used by it.

Still better than putting on a spoiler to make people think your vehicle is fast :)
