Anyone know of good TRX toy truck?

This one is pretty good, I have one torn apart that I'm going to tape off and spray blue :)
This is awesome! And also already in Delmonico Red - almost... Gotta get one of these.

Alright I ran out of beers so here’s the best I got. Hopefully one of the 1/18 scale makers decides to make a TRX model at some point. I’d be in for buying one.
For anyone looking, Hotwheels makes a red TRX. I am in the process of tearing it apart and painting it hydro blue. Here is the progress so far.

Is that primer you put on it?! Awesome job looks great already got 2 of them one to keep in the box one to paint! Wish I could afford to do that in real life with the trucks themselves lol!

Yep 2 light coats of primer. She’s finished now.

Did you scuff the body or use any sort of clear coat or adhesion promoter first? Just curious on your method and results. Mine should get here tomorrow. They are all on backorder all of the sudden and I don't want to waste one...

My grandson is quite fond of my TRX. He thinks the exhaust is the ”horn” and he is constantly saying, “Grandpa, honk your horn again!”. As such, I’d like to get him a TRX toy truck. I’ve found one on EBay, but it’s only available in Black, White, and Red and it also looks like the prototype TRX, not the production version.

Anyone find any other options? I’d be fine with remote control, die cast, or even hot wheels. Ideally in blue.

you paint the inside of the body so the paint looks shiny because its on the inside of the plastic so no clear coat is needed

Yeah it's a paint job in reverse. I've cleared before hand to give it more depth on a couple. Not sure if it made any difference. I've only used hobby paints I wasn't sure how well the automotive paint would stick to the body 🤔. Or if it will hold up to flexing for that matter...

seemed to work ok. I gave it a light dusting a couple times at first so it had something to stick to seemed to work

I scuffed with 1000 grit sandpaper since it what I had available just to help with adhesion, then hit with two light coats of primer, blue rustoleum, and clear. Light coats at a time is key otherwise the paint will cake over the body lines.
