Anyone gotten this from their dealer? Estimated build of January 2022 for a 112 vin order

So my dealer finally heard back from his rep about the FCA Vehicle Inquiry he asked for today. Based off what he sent, I have an estimated build plan of 1/17/22. I ordered the truck on 6/22/21 and got my vin on 7/5 and have been in D status ever since. If this is accurate that means I will be at 7 months since I ordered before the truck is even scheduled to be built. And in the chart TripleB posts the average WS to lot is 21 days for GA. So realistically it will be 9 months from order to delivery. That is absolutely insane that I have to wait that long when people who ordered in October and a 178 vin with all the same options and color already have their truck and a 112 vin is still in D status. The rep also told him it was "likely a parts supply issue" is holding up the build which I guess only applies to people who ordered before October.

So has anyone else received something like this? And was that estimated build plan accurate?
My first order was 5/17. Just got to d1 11/13 or so. Makes no sense 101 order group. Canceled that order and placed a new order

So did you take it down or what happened to the screen cap?

My 2 cents - there are longtime members of this forum who are a much better conduits of accurate information than the dealers i.e @KnightMare. I appreciate the info re production status someone like Zach brings, but very little of the other information he has provide has been accurate i.e. sold orders before retail orders, date of ordering determines build date, parts affect build date .... I am sure he has his reason for making these statements. I am not drinking that Kool Aid anymore, however. Discount is awesome, but with almost 200 orders and an average take rate (build allocation) of 15 a month, many of us are going to be waiting a long long time.
at least he tried to make sense in this madness. He couldve taken other dealer's approach and...say nothing. It's a guessing game and obviously we cant guess what RAM does. He is not told more than we are ..and some on this forum can reach very high , even higher than where Zach can imo. He provided more info than any other dealer. Ask him for data and he'll provide it . If he could expedite all the orders he wouldve done it long ago. If there wouldve been an allotment, or one he is aware of, other dealers would've said it just to kill his going discount. my 2c

Agree 100%. This is not a Zach or Granger thing. I feel like they‘ve gone way beyond what I’ve come to expect from a dealership. My hats off to them… it’s truly appreciated.

My beef is with Ram - having trucks ordered in May/June bypassed by identically equipped trucks ordered in Sept/Oct/Nov from the same dealer is a kick in the nuts. That’s not an allocation thing - the dealers are getting trucks. They’re just getting trucks that were put in the pipeline way later while older orders remain stuck.

Just not a great way for Ram to run things IMO. Especially when you consider those who ordered first we’re likely the most knowledgeable and enthusiastic.

Thankful that I ordered with Zach, as I do feel he’s doing everything he can - just wish Ram would have better organization/attention to detail on the production side.

At the end of the day it's a FCA or Stellantis issue. They know your build week once your build goes into D status. They could easily have a app that tracks your build everytime it goes thru status changes but how many people would keep an order in if they knew it would take several months. A bunch of us get online and then you get pissed when someone else build that ordered a month after you gets built way faster than you.

I think the people who would get upset and cancel their order of the knew of a 2022 build date, are the same people who will cancel with zero info by a certain “line in the sand” date.

What the build date, no matter how far out, would do for the fence sitters, Is give them a target to work around. It might be far off, but it’s a known quantity.

It’s the unknown that people don’t like. It’s the “opinions” given as facts under the color of authority by dealer reps… when the data shows otherwise. And then evidence presents itself as otherwise.

People just need the truth. The hyper majority will shut up after that. Until their estimated build date comes and goes by 2 weeks. Then it will be bitch fest time again.

A build date. That's all I want. Shit even a D1 status date at this point. Just something other then aimlessly searching this forum, refreshing emails all day, checking with ram chat weekly, searching Facebook groups... a build date would at least let us relax a bit and plan around that.

You're a damn poet, describing RAM/dealers and the Democratic party in the same sentence.
