Anyone gotten this from their dealer? Estimated build of January 2022 for a 112 vin order

I have some secret breaking inside intel. I found a rare picture of the production sequencing supervisor who is in charge of picking which trucks to build at RAM.

Yeah I am still salty from the ordering fiasco from last year.

They’re not really so accurate and I don’t think the info is in Dealerconnect (Stellantis order and tracking system). I think they have to send an inquiry to the factory.

How did you get this from your dealer?
I talked to him last week and he said he was going to reach out to his rep and that is what he was sent back so I'm not sure how he got it

So after many calls to RamChat I got through to someone who actually cared to dig deeper. They were able to give me an estimated ship date of January 2nd. So I guess I can at least stop bugging RamChat and Ashlie tell around that time and follow up! So I guess it really does depend on who you get through to. I am still in D. But the person I spoke to on RamChat said there is a back door way to get the information. FYI to all. At least this is some kind of answer which is all I was really searching for. Now let’s just hope it’s true and it shows up around or before this time. 👍

Stellantis boss: “Are you the guy who sent this screenshot from our secret system?”
Regional Rep: “Umm…”
Stellantis boss: “You know that shit is all over the Internet now?”
Regional Rep: “Umm…”

I think that’s Jeff.

So how does one become privy to getting that information?
Higher ups at the plants have access. It doesn't matter what plant or brand they work for. Someone from Jeep can still pull up the build info from a ram Vin.

All dealer reps have access. When you get too far long in the order process, the reps can actually change your build in that system. Mine got changed a couple days before I went D1 and sent me a screenshot of the changes.

I had people who had access to the system and forike a month I was giving out the build week info until Ram got pissed and started clamping down investigating people

So am I the only one who’s been thinking about this wrong the whole time?

Here I’ve been waiting each day hoping to hear from Zach/Amanda that my number‘s been drawn (112491) and my truck‘s gone D1. In reality, my build week’s already been established - likely on 9/1 along with everyone else who ordered in May/June/July/August. There’s no weekly lottery - I’ll go D1 a few days before that preestablished date.

Seems like the problem with early orders is the fact that anything ordered prior to start of production were all grouped together on 9/1 and randomly distributed for build between September 2021 and ??? 2022, with open slots in the scheduling provided to accommodate vehicles ordered after start of production.

Who do I need to pay to find out my previously established build week? And is it the same person I need to pay to log into the SHAP system and bump up my build week?

Sorry - it’s been a long week, and this isn’t helping…

So my dealer finally heard back from his rep about the FCA Vehicle Inquiry he asked for today. Based off what he sent, I have an estimated build plan of 1/17/22. I ordered the truck on 6/22/21 and got my vin on 7/5 and have been in D status ever since. If this is accurate that means I will be at 7 months since I ordered before the truck is even scheduled to be built. And in the chart TripleB posts the average WS to lot is 21 days for GA. So realistically it will be 9 months from order to delivery. That is absolutely insane that I have to wait that long when people who ordered in October and a 178 vin with all the same options and color already have their truck and a 112 vin is still in D status. The rep also told him it was "likely a parts supply issue" is holding up the build which I guess only applies to people who ordered before October.

So has anyone else received something like this? And was that estimated build plan accurate?
I ordered the same day as you and got my vin the next day I’m 112855. The worst part is I got that email that people got when they went to D1 status a while back but only I never moved to D1. I’ve been contacting ramchat every two weeks and nothing has ever came out of it and I contacted @grainger who I ordered with last week and got a very irritated/frustrated response saying my build is estimated dec or Jan. I don’t know what to do at this point. Shitty part is I’m in the process of building a house so not sure what to do. Do I order another one to possibly get it sooner like all these sept and oct orders are being built or do I ride it out? The estimated 120 days given at order is WAY PAST now so I’d probably lose my $1k deposit but damn this is getting dumb now seeing these 🎃 driving around that were ordered 4 months after me

You may be correct. As if they took all pre production date orders and lumped them together…🤔
