Any updates on 2027 trx orders?

So, you are just asking your dealer for updates. That works, too. Some dealers don't really like to respond.

Possibility 1: Dealer allocation orders opened before retail orders (most likely)

This is how many launches work.

Manufacturers often allow dealers to submit allocation or stock orders before opening the order banks to the general public.

The sequence can look like this:

  • Dealer receives an allocation.
  • Dealer configures the truck and submits it as inventory.
  • Weeks later, retail order banks open.
  • Customers place sold orders.
In that scenario, a May 20 dealer order is completely plausible even if you couldn’t place a retail order until late June.

Possibility 2: The “Date Ordered” is not the retail order date

Notice the screenshot carefully.

It says:

Date Ordered: 2026-05-20

That doesn’t necessarily mean he ordered it on May 20.

It likely means the order record in Stellantis’ system was created on May 20.

Since he said:

“It’s a dealer order…”

that date almost certainly belongs to the dealership’s order, not to him personally.

Possibility 3: Pre-order reservation converted to an actual order

Some dealers enter placeholder orders or use early allocation slots before official retail ordering opens.

When a customer agrees to buy that vehicle, they simply assign the order rather than creating a new one.
It is definitely #2 this was the dealers order that I am buying, the order was exactly the same except color, I was fine with taking black in the hopes I would get the truck sooner.

My dealer has 2 allocations, and initially 1 was for customer order and 1 was for dealer stock. I called a day after someone called and took the customer order allocation, so he told me he couldn’t promise it would happen, but he would call his Stellantis rep to see if the stock allocation could be changed to a customer order. He called me a few hours later and got my order specs.

It is taking an inordinately long time, he says, for the other order he took to be accepted, but when it is, he can submit mine.

He says that the 1st order will be in the “first round of orders” and mine will after that, but that’s new terminology to me and doesn't make sense.... if he has 2 allocations, why can't they be filled now?

Bottom line he says is that he got 2 allocations and that I 100% have one of em.

Hard to be patient but have no choice.
your "build priority" is "05"; mine is "99"; al;l else is the same except our actually builds, i have no roof or graphics but i have the towing and bed utility group, tow mirrors, mopar steps, and tow mirrors- does anyone know what the difference is or is this a unique to the dealership?

99? @Eighty will correct me, but 99 code means on hold (perhaps just a quote) or don't build - last place in line. Lower # the better. 1 is the best, obviously. Unless I am misrecalling how that works.

Yes, 1 is best. Can't say I've seen 5 before. Usually just 1 or 99 (which just means not priority right now, it doesn't mean don't build).

Looks like dealers got them on lots now

That’s the stealership I bought my TRX from back in 2021. Maybe I should toodle down there and have a look.

There is gonna be a sucker who pays an ADM on these when by fall you'll be able to get 10-12k off MSRP like last gen.

TBH, I’d be pissed if my brand new truck came in with 300 miles on it.

When did the last gen ever go 10-12K below MSRP? I doubt this one will ever go below MSRP especially with Raptor R still having ADM on them. These are limited availability trucks.

I got mine for 8k off when I bought mine new in 2022.

And they're not limited availibility.

I bought one from MD, a 2023 model, and it was $11k off. Many many many people scored these in that realm of discount. Just gotta wait.

@AnthonyRI how many first gens did you move at at least a 8k discount?

And no, no silly fees and the trade value was outstanding. No add-ons. I think the entire fee was ~$440.
