I have had several TRX's, and 2 Raptor R's. Haven't offroaded either, but agree with the others consensus that the R has a 5-10% better ride on the road than the TRX. I also agree the TRX is more eager to go quick from a start. R is still fast, but wants more throttle input to do it. For daily driving I might almost give the R the nod just for the fact that it doesn't jump off the line each time you start from a stop.
All of that being said, the TRX has a nicer interior, and actually a bit better body lines. I do like the R from the front, but the rear 3/4 of the TRX looks much more aggressive (IMO). I like the bulged fenders. The R just looks kinda like a wide F150. I currently have a delivery mile R, and a low mile '23 TRX. Seriously debating whether I am going to build the R, or just sell it. Kind of hard to justify the price differential since I had to pay some ADM on the R. Other than exclusivity, there's not a whole lot about the R that says to me it is a better truck.
