Another with no lights in the back doors

Shortage & Error claims do not necessarily need to be filed by the Selling Dealership, but they do need to be filed/claimed/submitted within 60 days (I believe) of KZX to the selling Dealership. With this vehicle’s in-service date of 3/12/22, the time period to cover such repairs has passed.

This is the bullshit I am getting regarding this issue. Basically go fuck yourself if you didn’t already know to. If that wasn’t bullshit enough I keep running into dealerships that won’t warranty anything if another dealership already worked on it because that dealership has to warranty their own work even if that dealership won’t actually warranty their own work. Bumper to bumper extremely limited one off warranty.
Well the good news is the parts + shipping are less than $100 bucks and it should take less than a half hour to do it yourself. You may or may not want to pick up a couple of spare door trim panel posts in case you break one but they're pretty sturdy so it's up to you.

Round 2. Dropping my truck off tomorrow morning for them to install the rear LED’s and put a new driver door panel on for the lower LED strip. They said they have all the lights, wires, harnesses, and panels in for me. We will see how this goes.

Service manager said “unfortunately I can’t give you another TRX to drive but I’ll give you a 1500” - can’t wait to see what they give me to drive for a day or two. Just so happens I have a bunch of aluminum fencing to pickup tomorrow - rather do it with their truck than mine

Picked up my lvl 2 today and yes you guessed it, no lights.
I spoke to them about why there wasn't, I was told that the 23 schematic ( in parts) doesn't show the lights being there. They recently took a door panel off and the pigtail is no longer there either.

IDK...

FINALLY. My dealer got all the lights into my 2022 and they are all working!

I’ve been dealing with this since October (when I took delivery), 3 trips to the dealer later and it’s done and over with.

So is this now considered a warranted factory issue that can and should be addressed? It only says”rear door accent lighting” on the build sheets not specifically how many lights do not sure how to justify it…

Long as it has 2 lights in the rear I could care less about the little hole I`ll add the red kit leds if need be

Had my missing rear lights installed along with Tailgate recall, no issues or questions. Been doing business with this dealer for years, they are awesome!

Damn you guys. I could have driven this truck a lifetime without knowing about this. But reading here, now I am aware I have a hole in my rear doors with no lights (#2 position). ‘22 built in late Feb.
Lol. I’m reading this thread right now, and been thinking just that. I have a 21 limited I’ll be trading in soon. Maybe I should just keep it and not trade it for a Trx? Right now I have so many lights on this sum beech it is lit up as a Christmas tree in and out. Hehe Grass is always greener on the other side I guess 😄 yep, FoCoJayCo, now here is some more shit for you to stress over, you are paying a hundred grand and ain’t getting damn cabin lights you are supposed to have. How you feel about that?

I just checked out my 23 which I just picked up last wednesday and I do not have the #2 lights in the back doors. It kind of sucks because all the ambient lighing looks cool in my 19 Laramie, but like it was mentioned in several other posts, I will not be sitting in the back ever so I'm not worried about it.

Good for you. I also don’t have them and no big deal. Still enough light in the back.
