Finally got around to installing my ADD Pro bumper this evening, with its accompanying @BajaDesigns LP6 and 30” curved light bar. Install went perfect, with a few convenience tweaks along the way…

I have a level 2 with front proximity sensors that were disabled long ago when i moved up to 37’s. Unfortunately ADD doesn’t sell the non sensor bumper so i had to getting those parts off. This led me to needing to repowder coat it, so i decided to take the opportunity to weld in some nuts on the back of the skid plate to make adding/removing it down the road easier.

I still need to wire the lights, but I’ve done it many times and have the vision in my head, just have to find the time!

Looks great. I wanted the Pro but my wife said it looks like the bumper on our Clay Pigeon Cart 😕

Interesting about the sensors brackets, the ADD Phantom that I installed had the sensors as bolt on brackets as opposed to fixed brackets... maybe a continuous improvement idea they implemented...

Looks great though!!!

Less variation in production, less waste and complexity, is my thought. I think the pro was the first of their trx series so you are prob right, streamlined for options on a common base.

Do you lose the tow hooks with the Pro? I was just looking at the Bomber Baja and I don't see tow hooks or clevis mounts.

You can keep them. I removed them for aesthetics. I am going to try fabbing up some that will be functional but align better to the new bumper.

If it works well and I need something for my front, I will hit you up for some fab...lol..

I will need to wreck my front before my wife will approve the ADD front.

I pretty much have the exact set-up. Looks great!

If you figure out the fab I’d be down for buying a set from you… I’ve had zero luck finding anything that doesn’t stick way to far out :(

Will keep you posted!

Looks great.
Such a simple idea to weld the nuts to remove the skid plate.
ADD should pay attention
Ya, i thought so too. Maybe in 3 months I’ll hit a snag and think “ahhh, that is why they didn’t do it”. Right now all i can think is that this eliminates the nylocks.

You might be on to something. I wonder if you will experience any issues with the bolts loosening over time since they aren't nylock. Do keep us posted.
