DEAL $9000 off MSRP is back @ Granger Motors

Well just heard that I have a new ETA Window- March 28 through April 6 ("but this is just an estimate..."). So, if the ETA does not get moved a fifth time, I will have been just shy of 9 months since order date, 49 days since WS, and 43 days sitting at the Volz rail yard. My order has to definitely be in the running for a Harvard Buisness School "How Not to Under Deliver" case study. It is actually funny that everyone who possibly could exert some control over the ordering, building, and shipping process says the exact same thing, "We have no control over the process." :ROFLMAO:
I’ve got that same ETA window.. hopefully it sticks! 🤞

Mine slipped a lot as well and then it came a day before the last ETA Ram Chat sent me. Not the most accurate tracking and forecasting system in the supply chain community.

FYI...I ended up booking my shipment through Montway Auto Transport. I posted my shipment on Uship.com and received five quotes ranging from $1K-$1600. Stopwatch came in at $2300. Montway was $1400 but has great track record compared to some of the lower bidders. This is my third time using Uship and I really like being able to shop the load.

What does KZP status mean I forgot.
Thanks

Yours will likely arrive before mine. Given that more recent builds have arrived at Granger, we know they are not prioritizing first in - first out from the rail yard. Rather, when you look at the set up at the rail yard, I am likely "parked in," and the drivers are just picking up the ones closest to the loading lanes. Those then are replaced by new arrivals - rinse and repeat. It really is the only explanation for how or why a truck ordered in December and released by the factory at the end of Feb arrived at Granger, while a truck ordered in July and released by the factory in early Feb still sits at the railyard. Unfortunately, I actually could still be there a while - until someone makes it it a priority to transport the older arrivals. But since all concerned continue to say "we have no control over the process," that will likely not happen. 253 days and counting since my order date. Hilarious really.
@Zach@Granger, can you call down to the yard and ask them to help Neenah out? He’s waited long enough.

Appreciate the gesture! There is nothing he can do however. At the end of the day, I am just one of 300+ TRX orders at the dealship, and one of Ram's 563k+ customers. No big deal. Now, if that truck is not perfect when I pick it up, my reaction will be different.
I wish we had pull. Our hands are tied with shipping issues like this. At one point we could run down to Kansas city and pick them up. But not anymore.

All in all, you’re just another brick in the wall, huh. That really sucks.

Just got an email from Granger Finance saying my truck is in transport to them. Does this mean it’s on a truck or is it in the yard? Curious how long of a wait I may have.

Just received the same thing as well. I am also curious. Hoping for a fair trade in value.

It’s either KZP or KZT. Should be less than 30 days out. I received that email and then my truck arrived at granger about two weeks later. I was in KZP status for two weeks already when I received that email.

Gotcha. Curious how many have financed through Granger or secured their loans elsewhere?

I was also told to expect a mid to end of may delivery? Maybe underpromise and over deliver?

Regardless, glad to see progress!

I got that email on the 17th and I still don't have a window sticker (although i've been KZP since.)

My eta changed 3x. The last eta was 3/23 - 4/1 and it ended up hitting the dealer lot on 3/21. There's hope man, hang in there!!
Was granger providing the ETA’s or did you have to reach out to them? Can’t wait for the red beast to arrive. Fastest color of course

Amanda sent me an eta when I asked….however I just harassed Ram Chat daily about a week after my WS came through. It was comical to see how much the eta just bounced around. I also received an email from the infamous Cara after one of the chat reps escalated my question. She offered less information than chat.
