I’m about 1500 to Las Vegas. I’m 50/50 if I want to ship or fly there and drive back.

I thought about shipping but figured it would be easier to just fly and drive back while breaking it in. One way flight to Des Moines is $79 with southwest and gas vs $2000+ quotes I’ve been getting. Truck should arrive within the next two weeks, I’ll let you know how it goes.

@RedPowerRanger please! Lemme know how it goes and who you went with. I’m still in D status so I’ll be a min. I’m anticipating March/April. Would be a nice Bday gift if I got it in April lol. Like I said it’s 50/50 so shipping is not off the table for me. With gas, hotels, and food it seems that either shipping or traveling back is going to be about the same cost +/- $3-500. I’m not married so that’s another reason I’d be down to checkout the mid west

So I have ordered from granger too live in henderson. Would be interested in your thoughts for local wraps, ceramic tint etc if you would be willing to share any experiences good and bad. Don’t expect mine until late March.

Don’t expect mine until late I have not wrapped or coated any of my I can recommend someone that I have personally taken my classic Volkswagen Beetle to have some custom work down for car shows that got me in magazines.

I would ask Industry auto collision center. They were recommended to me by performance Motorsports who upgraded my air ride suspension in my Volkswagen for me while I was deployed. Was nice cuz they did an amazing job when I was unable to complete some things on my bug before a car show. They did an amazing job with the front area creating a custom wood carved “VW” that’s wrapped in Leather and my plaid fabric used in my seats. VW pics related. They have an Instagram that shows a lot of their work. I might plan on having them color match my number silver.

I live in henderson as well. I’ll be getting my truck done at ceramic pro LV down the street from the raiders practice facility. Kavaca stealth wrap and ceramic tint. I’ve gotten work at Lusso’s as well.

Pump gas when you get half way. Not only that it helps taking a break but you don't know what you find ahead. Could be a crash and get stuck for 5 hours or you could be somewhere in IN or AZ and not find a gas station for the next 100 miles. Don't speed in the morning and find hotels close to the freeway. It's ok to follow 18 wheelers ( most have mudflaps) but don't go parallel with them ( had my my windshield chipped this way). Pump the highest octane you find , make sure you setup Sirius before you leave. Seats recline fully and the bench is comfortable if you need a half an hour to nap in a rest area. Avoid tolls and use your phone to map out the route ( this way you get police speed traps).
