My guys telling me they laid off third shift because they are running out of parts.

Oh great...my 151 says to be in paint....probably will be there till 3rd shift comes back to paint it!

Or they will take it apart and put the parts back on the shelf so they can build another 300XXX VIN

The 3rd shift? What does it even mean? If there is a laid-off happening then everyone would be affected not just the old VINs right?

They should bring those 3rd shifters back in and start doing some fucking inspections. These 3+ week waits for a WS is absolutely ridiculous

Definitely everyone. I cannot imagine an operational procedure dedicated to a single shift unless one shift was more trained than another which is why there are usually shift leads/managers.

In my experience with other manufacturing 3rd shift is exclusively responsible for making the line run bad for the next shift, and leaving a mess.

So the third shift would come around after the second shift ends to continue the job? Is it in charge of inspection or anything?

44 days?!?!? Man that’s tough! Kudos to all that got their WS, enjoy the trucks and post up when you get them.

In full production times I think they do everything typical in the full manufacturing

Just checked in on 5th Ram forum. Some 317s 316s have got the BS. Wonder if it's a new order or a replacement to the old orders

Correct, all those members received their Window Stickers tonight which means their trucks are complete and ready for shipping.

Yeah my 316 got a BS still waiting for my WS etc was a replacement for my 2XX that had to be scrapped. Said it was a priority and I went from D the second time around to BS in a couple of weeks. That was about 2 weeks ago

So I wasn’t on BBBs list this morn and I checked with ram chat this morn and they said all parts have been gathered… as usual. But my dealer emailed me tonight saying my truck was in paint, so I went to ramchat and they said the truck has been built? Just waiting on inspection now. Is that right lol? I’m a 301xxx VIN
