Well, good for you all getting the new black Launch Edition...and ya'll didn't even have to pay the full difference for the upgrade! Congrats! Meanwhile, I'll wait for what is now my Anvil colored truck.

Can someone tell me why I ordered a launch edition-Anvil on the mourning of 8-18-20 and put a $10,000 deposit down when every other color car I own is Black!
I remember now because dealer said Launch Editions would be built first off the line!

I’m not trying to insult but believing a car dealer is well um you know.
it’s and industry thing. Land Rover defender cam out a few months ago. You could talk in and buy a regular one way before the launch edition off the lot. As others have said more like a limited edition. I bet the bronco launch edition same thing. All that being said I’d be pissed too for being misled. It happened to me on a false allocation.

I am telling you if you contact Ram and make a big deal you will get something. Maybe a priority build or 10% discount or something.

Glad to see I'm not the only pissed off one. Just call it a limited edition instead of launch edition out of the gate if you aren't sure what is going to happen come build time. It's simple, better communications.

Here are some build dates for other colors I've seen. Any others you guys are aware of? Anvil: 1/18, 1/24, 1/25, 1/27 1/28, 2/1, 2/8 Flame Red: 1/18, 1/27, 2/1, 2/8, 2/22, 3/1 Granite Crystal: 1/18, 1/30, 2/8, 2/15 Billet Silver: 2/8, 2/22 Bright White: 1/18, 1/25, 2/1, 2/8 Hydro Blue: 1/18...

Even better - Ford announce leather on their "First Edition" is late availability.

I am just pissed because my initial 10/28 build date was passed over - that's all. I will get over it. Been through this with the Demon and Hellcat.Compared to those two this mess is going pretty smoothly.

The good news is no matter what at some point you will have a bad ass truck. And rare non le or le still will be rare. They are making 50 Trx per day and probably 1000 regular rams.
