How bout we finish all the Anvils too! :)

They are hitting all around me. 1185, 1187, but no 1184. C'mon folks! I feel a blackie coming my way in the near future!
Patience “Grasshopper“......

there are three vins im watching from my dealer....hitting all over each of them but no dice.
i love my build, but im about to jump up $10k in MSRP just so i can get in a truck that delivers first.

Man I am glad I ordered a Black beauty. Unfortunately it was in November and I don’t even have a Freaking VIN number.

There will be enough time for all that training. Black belt by the time it comes in. I will kick the sales guy in the head if he pisses me off
LOL.....I am really looking forward to the day I pick up my truck but at the same time I have an uneasy feeling about what to do if some D-Bag sales manager tries to change the terms of what I agreed upon back in August when I ordered it.....They are clearly holding all the cards and if they want to be dicks its not like I can go across town and buy a different truck off the lot

I'm with you! Waiting on 1186 to pop any day now. I was given a ship date on 1/15 so it should be soon

How far out are they giving expected build/ship dates? I received the email saying it's expected to deliver in March.

They are not holding all the cards. If you have a signed sales agreement the terms must be honored by them. If not you can sue them. And while I'm sure you do not want the hassle, I assure you they do not want it as well

The furthest out email was for March, there are plenty of people that didn't get the email that their builds wont likely come until april or later but they aren't scheduled yet

If you want to give me the other VIN's I will mark them all with your name so you get PM'd

Yea I have a signed sales contract which states the price of the truck of MSRP and a depreciation scale of my trade starting at $54k and going down by $0.40 per mile every mile over 18k (what my current truck had on it in august) and a flat $1500 decrease on Jan 1st 2021.....However I could see some Finance Manager or Sales manager trying to say I have to purchase an extended warranty and/or an Interior/Exterior protection package for thousands more or throwing on a whole host of other high profit margin crap every car dealer tries to sell you that I always decline to buy.....

Not saying they are going to but that is my worst fear because if this were any other vehicle I would tell them to pound sand and walk out if they tried to pull that crap, but I have been waiting to get my hands on this truck since the concept came out in 2015 and I don't know if I could honestly walk away

If the item is not in the contract they cannot add it. If you are financing and the finance term is within the warrantee they cannot force you to buy extra coverage. The thing to remember is you are not the one walking away. You sit there and if all goes according to what was agreed you go ahead with the deal. If they try anything you politely say, I'm sorry but this is not what we agreed, I still want my truck, but I guess we will need lawyers involved in this, and I caution you that you cannot sell my truck to anyone. For extra drama you can take out your phone and record yourself saying that.
Then slowly walk away and take your time getting into your old truck and buckling your belt, as they will be running after you. There are laws protecting you, and they know it, they just assume you do not know it....

Right, but I did get the email saying March...is it worth emailing my dealership asking if there is a build date scheduled yet or are they only assigning build dates a week or two in advance?

That Sir is a great question, anecdotally I can say so fay I have not seen anyone say they had a build date more than a couple weeks out but that doesn't mean they don't get assigned further out......My plan is to check my VIN daily for a build sheet and once one shows up call my dealer literally every day to see if they have an update as to when my truck will arrive at the dealer
