Mine came with 37’s. I bought used 5 k miles. It rides great but the Speedo is off for sure. Can’t imagine what it’s like with the 35’s.
Of course I came out of an F-350 diesel.

Awesome. Thank you. It took me a while to get used to not having the torque to carry overdrive, coming from a modified turbo diesel.Mine came with 37’s. I bought used 5 k miles. It rides great but the Speedo is off for sure. Can’t imagine what it’s like with the 35’s.

Which tires did you go with?Thank you everyone for the responses. 37’s ordered today.![]()
Going with a 37x12.50r20 bfg ko2. Right at 71lb. Paired with the weld it should be 99lb, which i think is less than the stock beadlock capable setup.Which tires did you go with?
I just can't bring myself to get bigger wheels, update us after the new set up is on!Going with a 37x12.50r20 bfg ko2. Right at 71lb. Paired with the weld it should be 99lb, which i think is less than the stock beadlock capable setup.
Ya, i have non beadlocks too. Will see if i notice a diff, or how significant.Looks like the stock non-beadlocks, which I have are 93lbs for the wheel and tire. I have found lighter 18" wheels the the stock 18's (that are reasonably-priced).
That’s what i have observed, people feel the need to justify their expense so they sometimes don’t share everything. Also, a lot of folks don’t even notice things that others notice. I’ll look into a dragy.I would imagine after someone spends thousands on new wheels and tires, they might have a tendency to downplay the negative effects. And everyone has their own opinion of what’s “slight” or “significant”. It would be really nice if someone would pick up a Dragy and actually put some numbers to this, before and after.
Do you have an email we could pester? The more people hammer Yukon gears…. The sooner they will have their front carrier and f/r gear sets out!
Thank you!Your truck is looking great man. Thanks for sharing the information.
