Sorry, in your first post you listed 4478 and I missed your correction a few posts later to 4778 so I had you tagged under the wrong VIN. I corrected my records now.

Missed today by one digit, 904778 got called but still no 904777. I saw 904779 the other day. I believe I saw a 904776 the other day as well.
Just Crazy how all this works. I thought for years serial numbers rolled off the line in order. Clearly that is not even remotely the case.

I had the same experience! Owned 2 Jags and won't get another one of them again either.

Well FCA lost another purchase from me, my lovely wife loves the new Grand Cherokee, I pushed her to BMW because they care about their customers. In a year when we are buying 3 vehicles, I bought a Jeep Rubicon, and for now have a TRX on order. They had a chance to get all three, one down, will I walk away from the TRX too?

The new x5 is great, it's a nice balance. I wanted to get the M50, but we are going to keep it for awhile, the straight six should be a bit better long term. I had a 550 M-Sport and that thing was a rocket!

After reviewing the tracker again, I continue to see that a large number of January builds are still waiting on "something." Many of us think the main culprit is a chip. Yet it seems they have built a large number and variety of trucks since January that have received window stickers and have shipped - indicating all of those sent out since January had all needed parts (chips, etc, etc.) What I don't get is how @swankyzaphod was built on 01/06/21 and is still sitting around, and many trucks have shipped that were built well past his. I cannot believe that, for all these trucks that have shipped lately, there was not or were not the parts to get his done and out the door - and then the next one sitting around, and so on. I sure hope the trucks that are just sitting don't get mixed up in the potential part shortage anticipated for March. Just my two cents.

Edit: @KnightMare are there any of your insiders at all that can help us better understand the scenario above?
