'27 TRX Code Guide & Allocation info from MARK DODGE

It may just be a blanket clause that you agree to by purchasing the truck.

It is not in my paperwork nor on the VIN. I would never know about this. I specifically asked my finance manager about it and I already mentioned he said it was all talk and never amounted to anything. I believe this dealer is the highest volume dealer in NJ per reports I have read, so don't think they are playing games.

This is national, all dealers, controlled by Ram. Your factory warranty is between you and the manufacturer, but communicated by dealers. If other dealers want to ignore or forget it, that's fine - but we are committed to providing our customers (and the forum, as it were) with the information given. Every dealership got the same memo. We did not create this policy, we just inform our customers as we were instructed to.

very odd @RAM cares - Do you know anything about this?

This was well known before the truck launched. Several threads about it here too.
We all know there are many more bad dealerships than good so I am sure they are just blatantly not informing the buyers correctly.

Where would I look to even know about this. It is not in any paperwork and the dealer verbally said it is not applicable.

forum threads are speculation, not facts. Contract is facts and this is not in my contract.

Why would anyone buy a used '27 TRX when you can find them at MSRP from several dealers brand new . Not only that you get factory warranty voided ( not sure if Stellantis can enforce that) but you also give up on "lemon law" protection by buying a 2nd hand truck.
Buy it to keep it or move on...

I'd get that in writing if there's any doubt.

I do not think I should have to get what I am calling an internet rumor in writing. There is no paperwork saying any of this.

I 100% agree, but we are not like the flipper crowd that really does this.

We need the people who already own a 2027 to confirm if they had to sign anything regarding this, or were made aware, or was in thier paperwork.

still trying to get @RamCares to confirm the facts here.

@ALJ if you don't think it exists, and your dealer doesn't think it exists, and you don't plan on selling it in under a year - then it doesn't sound like there's much to worry about.
If you DO need to exit the vehicle in under a year, for whatever reason, then I would suggest reaching out to Ram directly (not just tag on forum) to understand what the implications are, and how your dealership personnel may or may not have downplayed or ignore those items if any turn out to be true at that current time where you need to do so. This is not the end of the world, your next buyer could simply purchase an extended warranty if need be.

Maybe just pause this conversation until 6 months from now if someone happens to buy a used 2027, see what happens when they go get a warranty item done.
Until then, it is on documentation from RAM (whether or not your dealership provided or highlighted). It's their words, not mine, (and certainly not your dealers!)

One more screenshot for the record (mostly so I can find it later if things change). The July 13th memo was when they published the actual rules.

I agree with just about everything you said, but one thing, @RamCares should chime in here as that is their sole responsibility, to help us out with these oddball situations specific to RAM.

Rather than leaving all of this speculation out on the ether.

Hi @ALJ We apologize for our delay, as this is a messaging service and our team is not active on weekends, our responses will be delayed.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. We have reached out to some internal resources and will follow up once we have some additional insight.

Is Ram offering any type of financing for the TRX this month?

TRX, and most other high-end trims from Stellantis, are normally omitted from special financing. In this case that remains true. we do work with a number of competitive lenders to help our customers get the best terms for their specific situation when the time comes. We're not married to just one lender!

Can't wait to hear about the details once you find out.

Those of you who have taken delivery of the SRT TRX - was this 59-page Warranty Information book provided with the vehicle?

Thanks for the tag again! The warranty information is correct and can be found on page 18 of the Warranty Information (see screenshot). You should also receive a physical letter in the mail a few weeks after delivery reinforcing the warranty terms. The form from your dealership is an acknowledgement that they've explained the warranty stipulation to you directly.

Odd, my dealer specifically said no when I asked. Said it was all talk and never amounted to anything. There is nothing in my paperwork about this either, nothing I signed nor did the dealer show me.

Crazy how dislocated this process is, and the consumer is going to be pissed, especially when someone buys a used TRX and RAM denies warranty work.

TRX Forum Favs 👍
