So, are you saying that a new Control Module (under dash) is needed? Or a new wiring harness? (or both!) I was planning to use mine off my 21 and 24, and instead of "unpinning" all those wires again (PITA) I will just buy another harness and run the wires, but I was planning to use the existing Control Module.

You should check out the RHO forums for better confirmation. I dont want to give the wrong information. I had read that it was a matter of moving some pins. But i cant say if there was more needed or not.

Hey thanks...I just ran both part numbers for the Module and the harness for my setup on the 24, and both come up as working with the 27 SRT TRX on MyMoparParts.com. So, I think I'm good! Might not work from Uconnect, because of Alfa, but time should fix that.

I vaguely recall seeing someone post about AMP Power Running Boards and posted confirmation that the 2026 1500 fitment were compatible with the 2027 TRX and posted an AMP "name" to call.

I cannot locate that thread and called AMP blindly to ask - and they gave me the standard "we cannot confirm fitment for 2027 TRX" and warned that any return will be void if it doesn't fit.

Dealer is telling me MOPAR power running boards are on 60-90 backorder.

Turning to the braintrust here for better information.

Has ANYONE installed the following AMP Power Running Boards successfully? No issues with fitment/compatability w/ 2027 TRX?

I installed Amp steps Part #76364-01A on 27 TRX. Installs per the directions and have had no issues.

My dealer also showed the Mopar Power Running Boards on backorder, but they order a set for my new 2027 TRX and they delivered to the dealer in less than a week. The boards came up in their system under my specific VIN#.

THANKS! I had them order them - fingers crossed that the 90-120 day backorder is "noise" and not factual.

No TRX in 25/26. 2025 and up have the new electrical architecture for all 1500. If it fits the 2026 RHO than it should fit the 2027 TRX too.

Can anyone tell me if the Mopar Power Running Boards [(82219228AC) fits 2026 Ram RHO] will interface with the 2027 Ram TRX SRT UConnect system? My dealer doesn't want to order until my VIN officially populates on their order by vehicle VIN screen. Thanks for any feedback here!

I can tell you that my 2027 had the normal off-road steps which are no good for me because they get damaged or laugh but have had them drag in deep mud on other trucks. So, the dealer put on the Mopar powersteps and they integrate perfectly.

I dont think the OBDII port is in the equation with the OEM mopar power ones.

Thank you. Those are the ones I ordered. After going back and forth with parts representatives, these power boards were the one constant. Price hurt a bit but .

Someone on the TRX Facebook group posted saying there is a revised part number for the Mopar power running boards because the AC part number was draining batteries fast. The new revised part number is 82219228AD. My dealer ordered them for me but they are on backorder.
