HOT! 2027 RAM TRX is Back as the Fastest and Most Powerful Production Gas Pickup Truck in the World

I think it is spitfire from what I saw in the initial videos from 1/1/26.
Now that you mention it, ya it does.

What threw me off was the online images, and that orange looks nothing like it. But that truck in the video doesn’t look like the molten red either.

RAM's website colors are not at all accurate, at least for some. They had the granite color showing for the RHO zenith, which isn't even close. I contacted corporate and they probably still have it wrong a year later 🙈 It's really hard to tell, but compare the hood stripe or red RAM logo with the side of the truck. It changes a lot with the sun on it or in the shade. I wish it was more orange like on the website pic!

Okay, in all three videos the trucks are red...2 Red Bloodshot Night Editions and a Motlen Red Peasant Edition. Thanks for confirming what I thought to begin with. 🤣
Incorrect, but keep seeing red if you want to 🤠

It's 7/7 and the influencer driving impressions videos can now begin to flood in 🎉

Think I just counted 10 driving videos of the TRX SRT released today 💪, although some are still saying SRT TRX 🤷‍♂️

One thing I am noticing with the videos is that launch control might not actually be working yet or properly, orrrrr it's user error as they are all doing 0-60mph in around 4.2sec. Most likely it's an ID 10 T error 🤣

haven't watched videos but would assume the changes in how it drive are negotiable. Biggest difference would be updated tech, self driving, massage seats etc. Plus just being new.

the trucks did have over 500 miles on them. But ya I noticed this as well. Oddly enough, my truck would never do the launch on the first try. I had to do it twice for it to work. And thats not something you want the dealer to work on lol

Spot on, and so far it seems like that extra HP might be at the very top of the RPM range and not too useable, but it's there! I would love to see a 1st gen dyno run compared to this 2nd gen and where the HP/TQ curves are.

In this driving impressions video it shows how the self driving will change lanes when the turn signal is activated by the driver.

TRX Forum Favs 👍
