According to this video, the new airbox pulls in less air from the hood scoop then the original set up… interesting. I can’t get past that red lipstick in and out, looks cheap. Sounds to me like they changed some internals, new airbox, added a smaller pulley and upgraded fuel pump.

100% agree that red lipstick all over the place, looks like ass.
I can't believe they didn't have a simple delete lipstick box to check in the order bank.
They have all the same parts without the Red BS setting there going on the RHOs why not offer to delete the red for those of us who really hate it. I am struggling a bit more with it since I saw in that video that the dang seatbelts are red too. The seats could be fixed with Katzins and the exterior bits could be fixed with RHO parts. But the seat belts might get really tricky to get changed.

I may cancel my order and wait for them to come out with either a delete the lipstick option or a jail break option that lets you get the Tungsten interior in it. I really hate that red crap everywhere on these trucks.

There have been dozens of them built already, this isn't some kind of big news. Unless they're starting to build "for sale" models (all of them have been Pilot Vehicles so far).
But it would be really odd if they were starting true production, as it isn't scheduled until August. They are still cranking out 2026's, and they haven't done the summer shutdown yet.

Good news is, we will be able to easily tell the 2nd generation compared to the 1st gen… look for the rho front end and red lipstick. Of course it’s a cool truck, but really thought they would take it to the next level. Other then the engine upgrade, to me the looks is a slight downgrade.

and sadly the headlights are now on their 3rd year since the 2025 RHO, which should have also been updated for 2027.

I've never seen a side by side comparison and test of the headlight systems from the 1st gen (2021-2024) to the 2025+, so I don't know how much of an upgrade it is.

Glad the trx is back but not enough “upgrades” for me to make a change from a paid for 2022 with only 30k miles. Especially when we got the 21’s and 22’s for such deals of a base of $70k-$73k. Looking back… this was such a steal.

I'll run a scan in the next few days to see what's cooking. The just repaired the servers earlier today, and I'm currently catching up on THOUSANDS of 2026 build sheets. Once I get that all settled out, I'll start looking at 2027's.

Well, gentlemen, I'm going to eat my words. I am running a scan (slowly, alongside my MY26 production scan), and it's already found 210 SRT TRX's that are NOT Pilot Vehicles. So it would appear that they're full-on building them now. When the scan is complete, I'll compile some results and publish them (most likely tomorrow morning).

Well, he was right. They're already almost 10% into the initial 2500. I bet eighty finds a few more once his scans are complete. Should know tomorrow.

I hope they average 2022 weekly numbers.
