HOT! 2027 RAM TRX is Back as the Fastest and Most Powerful Production Gas Pickup Truck in the World

Are existing TRX owners that are wanting to buy a '27 TRX going to keep both or sell the 1st gen? I would think replacing the 1st gen with a '27 TRX would soon drive down the 1st gen resale prices or dealers might not even take them as a trade in once they start stacking up. Purely speculation though because I really don't know 💩, but see a possible self induced issue coming.

As I recall, the first thing that'll show is that the order is in the system, then that it's accepted.

If you start worrying at this stage you'll be a nervous wreck long before the car even hits the assembly line.
Oh, this is far from my first Rodeo ordering vehichles.
Was just curious if consumer order tracking was still a thing we could do.

Being my dealer had 4 allocations, and I was at the end of that group, just curious to see how this all shakes out this time around. Also, I like taking an order number and making sure the dealer actually entered it into the system. LOL
Trust but verify. LOL

Bring on the RAM Dominoes pizza tracker! It is by far the worst manufacturer vehicle tracking system I have used, buuuuuut cannot wait to experience it again once I order the new TRX 🤣

If you want excellent tracking, order a Porsche.

If ordering from Stellantis you're better off pretending that their tracking doesn't exist.

Yes, the VAG ordering system is much better but I am trying to get out of that family and into RAM. We can make it through this together, and by that I mean with the help of @Eighty to keep our sanity throughout the order to delivery process 🍻

Well, I have some potentially bad news. All I've been getting are Doomsday errors for the past two days on both the Build Sheet servers and the Window Sticker servers. Either they have a hardware malfunction (and haven't noticed it for 2 days), or they've found a new way to block me.
So I'm not real sure I will be much help when 2027 production starts, unless something changes. I can pull build sheets here and there, but 9 out of 10 server hits results in errors. And I have to do about 2 million hits per day to get through all the potential VIN combinations.

Well, you are amazing no matter what. I know your life would be much easier if they did block you and everyone doesn't bug you all day every day 🤣

Yep. I tracked both of our Porsches from assembly to the shipping port. They also gave us the ship name, so we could track the ship to Benicia. The tracking info from Benicia to Spokane was almost nonexistent.

The Ram pizza tracker does suck. However, with the help of guys on this forum, I was able to get the phone# for the Toledo Raceway Yard where most trucks go after assembly. They gave me the name of the trucking company that was transporting my truck. I called their dispatch and they told me when it was scheduled to be loaded/delivered. Yes it was a pain in the ass, but it was better than no info at all.

This is bringing back (bad) memories of a '19 Challenger Redeye order.

Everything went just fine...until it was built. After that It visited every yard they have at least once (knew it as the tracking system was still good), but just didn't seem to be able to catch a train.

I was getting a bit concerned since it was winter, and not wanting surface rust on everything underneath. Well, it did eventually make it to the dealer, four months and eight days after it was built.

Come to think of it, I also had a '14 Ram sit in the yard at Saltillo for well over a month before it shipped.

Is there anything mechanically different other whatever they did to get that claimed 70hp bump.
There are years and years' worth of video reviews of the 21-24 model TRXs on YouTube.
I am sort of expecting it to ride and drive exactly like my 2021 TRX.
Only with a few new tech gadgets and an annoying red accented interior to have to look at. LOL
It’s not just a hp bump. They have refined the shocks. They are on a new electrical architecture as well. I imagine the truck will feel better. And hopefully no drive shaft clunk!

Interesting, didn’t know that about suspension changes.

Not sure how , or what it means for the actual function of the truck where its electrical architecture is concerned. Never had any issues with my 21s electronics.

I do wish my 21 had road more like my 1st gen Raptor . The 21 TRX just didn’t have that old luxury car float like that 1st gen Raptor had. Always wished the TRX had road a bit smoother. It road nice, just not old town car or Cadillac smooth.

So I hope that means the 27 rides smoother than the 21 TRX I had. That would be a nice change.

I never had the drive shaft clunk in my 21, but I had heard of guys fighting that issue.

I was surprised they didn’t advertise the upgrades more. I’ve watched several interviews where they talk about tech specs.

I’m in a 24 raptor and think it’s way too soft. I miss the firm planted feeling of the trx lol.

My clunk was horrible. Dealer wouldn’t do anything. Tried another dealer and they put me on a waiting list that never amounted to anything.

You Tube rules! That's where the real facts are, only surpassed by (possibly) Tik Tok.

Never buy a vehicle until having watched at least 243 videos about it. Extra points if 38 of them are AI creations.

Didn't the 1st gen already have the Blackhawk e2 system? The update to the electrical architecture could definitely mean much more capability with OTA firmware updates and control of all systems including the suspension, but it's all about who's doing the programming of those systems and if they can do it properly. I wish RAM put the track mode programming with the TRX. Let's pray all the electrical gremlins are gone!
