HOT! 2025 Ram 1500 orders at 4% Under invoice - Code Guides with Invoice and MSRP Pricing

@Zach@Granger - This change is ultimately going to be bad for everyone. I have had a great experience with Granger and I would love to keep doing business with you guys and I'm sure Granger would love to keep the out of state sales flowing, but this will ultimately be an impediment to that. It stinks. But more than that, when these policies are unilaterally changed AFTER you have taken a deposit and you refuse to refund said deposit when the buyer refuses to agree to your NEW policies, you are breaching a contract. I would advise my clients against doing that (but I am not offering legal advice here). I wanted my Jeep, but I'm not comfortable with this process change or the change to the length of time the buyer is allowed to maintain price protection, so I will unfortunately be requesting my deposit back today. I am hopeful that Granger will do the right thing.
I understand where you are coming from and we will be reasonable with requests.

Not that I want a pity party for us, but the fine from Stellantis was in excess of 6 figures, so we simply can't afford to continue to do things the same way we were.

I totally get it and I hope you guys get a good process figured out so you can keep up the out of state sales because I seriously believe you guys have a great thing going. The sales team was second to none when I bought my TRX. 110% satisfied! The tax thing is just an issue for certain states as I'm sure you're already finding out. The last time I bought a vehicle from a dealer in Florida was nearly 10 years ago and it was such a nightmare dealing with the sales tax between the two states I decided I would never buy another from an FL dealer again. It was brutal. The states refuse to communicate with one another and if the amount of the check that MO receives isn't exactly right, the entire deal is held up. Then MO FINES the purchasor when the taxes are paid late because of it. It's ridiculous.

Makes perfect sense to me. a dealer selling vehicles on a thin margin cannot simply " hope " the customer follows through with their tax obligations.

My state has no sales tax so I don't care. my experience with Granger was great I'd buy there again.

Buying multiple cars might get you banned from buying from their dealership ...there are several that were told they cant place new orders with Granger because they ordered too many cars already. It's not a Stellantis decision but rather a Granger one. Other dealers had no problems selling to the same individuals..not sure what they went through but just giving you the heads up if you buying multiple cars from them. Be prepared for alternatives

I just purchased another vehicle from an out of state dealer and traded a car to them in return. The sales tax they charged was the difference between the two cars (the selling price of their car and their buying price of my car). I financed a portion of the sale and my State sales tax was included in my payments as an add on.

Well, unfortunately, I just received a response from Shelby essentially saying that if I want my deposit back, Granger will never sell me a car again. Seems incredibly short sighted, especially considering the change in policy after I placed my order, but I suppose it's your choice. It just seems crazy to me that a company would actively "punish" potential customers for not liking a rule put into place after their agreed to buy, and then refuse to ever sell to them again. Fortunately for the buyers, there are other dealers willing to make the same deals. I sure hate it, though, because I had a great experience with my TRX and would gladly order future vehicles as long as I know the policies going in.

Please PM me your information. I can visit with our team and get this straightened out.

Hi @Zach@Granger - Thanks for the offer, but before you had a chance to respond, Shelby took care of me! I'm still on Team Granger and I'll definitely be back. Wish this one had worked out like the TRX, but if history is any indicator, I suspect I'll be ordering at least one new FCA product (possibly a Ram 2500 Cummins) before too long. The up side is someone is going to get a sweet 2024 Rubicon 392 that I'm missing out on this time.

you got what you wanted and you fell in love again. You were adamant you were not buying from them because of the whole tax debacle, they appeased you by refunding your deposit and now you want to buy again from them even if they'll charge you tax on the purchase
Could be either schizo or brown nose!!! ... drphil.com could help you diagnose
There are others that lost their deposit because they werent making a fuss on the forums
I guess the louder you are the more you get FML

No, it's called rewarding a good dealer for doing the right thing. The details of my future orders from them are not disclosed here (and likely will not ever be), because that's not public domain. I'm sure you think you know everything about everything, including how good customer service works, but you clearly do not. Your reading comprehension also appears to be flawed, but we won't go into that. I stated from the beginning that I was PRO Granger... and if you follow my posts here, you would know that. I gave them the opportunity to do the right thing (and trust me, much more conversation occurred with the dealer OFFLINE, than the few posts here, hence Shelby handled the situation before Zach even needed to get involved), and they chose to do the right thing in order to keep a long term customer. It's not about how "loud" you are, it's about WHAT you say when you deal with people. Seems to be something every adult would understand, but apparently not.

More bullshit lingo , with occasional buzz words. Definitely schizo..no wonder they refunded you and nobody else.

I'll hang on to my 2023. Someone had the lame idea of redesigning the tail lamps on the 2025 1500 refresh and lost the Amber turn signals. Cost cutting I get it but doesn't mean I have to buy into it.

Sorry, I realize I may be talking over your head. Clearly you have some issues that therapy couldn't resolve. Good luck with those, bro.

could be but surely is not split personality you nut case..in one post threatening tsunami and wrath of law because they force you to pay tax with swearing never to buy from granger, follow up post playing nice and showing interest in buying another car.

64k for a 2025 Rebel? That RHO has to be at least the starting price of a 2021 TRX. Which for everyone that doesn't remember ancient history was $69,995

I think 69k would be a competitive starting price for the RHO.
I think they'll match the Raptor at $77K as their target price point. Maybe $79,995. They used to come in chepaer than Ford, now they think they deserve a premium. I'd argue the TRX did deserve it, I don't think the RHO will.

Why do you guys keep changing your policy on this? I currently have a Rubicon 392 on your lot waiting for delivery, but I'm being told I have to pay MO Sales tax to Granger now (I just bought my 2023 TRX in June and did NOT have to do that). Is there some difference between Jeep deals and Ram deals? I just know that I won't be paying sales tax because I get tax credit for selling my current vehicle, so I don't like the idea of floating several grand out there to Granger or Iowa for no reason. Any insights on that?
The reasoning why we now add "Your States Sales Tax" to the final price of the vehicle is because we ran into the issue of people buying our vehicles at a generous discount and then selling them for a profit in which we then get charged back from the manufacturer because the vehicle was sold before the sales tax was paid. When your in transit title gets sent to you we then send a check made out to your states DMV or titling center.

If anyone has any questions regarding this policy please feel free to reach out to me and I would be happy to discuss this further.

Hi, everyone we are back again! - Email Britney at [email protected] to be added to our 2025 Ram Charger List and our RHO List!!!!

For the introduction of the 2025 Ram 1500. We are now offering 4% under invoice on a Ram 1500 truck that is a retail order. There's no catch or gimmick. To get a quote started just email a Build & Price from Ram's website to [email protected].

Also add another 1% savings applied to your purchase if you have an active Affiliates code.

Just a few quick notes (because I know I'll get asked!)

1 - Our documentation fee is $180.
2 - There are NO mandatory add ons.
3 - There is a Non-Refundable $1000 deposit due at order.
4 - We will get you an electronic signature document with options, pricing, and details for your signature before placing the order.
5 - We do not participate in courtesy deliveries to other dealerships.

I think it goes without being said, but I also want to clarify that we cannot make any guarantees on delivery time frames. A Limited truck will take longer than a Tradesman because of the extra microchips, but this last year has clearly taught me that I can't promise anything on timing. We have been told April/May is the estimated arrival date of these trucks.

I realize you can use this to price shop your local dealers and I encourage you to do so. I think it's great to support local business. But if you can't get something worked out locally we're glad to assist.

I also want to be an asset to this community on any dealer related questions that may arise as well and be able to add my knowledge to those conversations.

Thanks for the opportunity!

Zach
