2023 TRX order banks closed

Can’t believe that if I ordered the same spec TRX I currently have it would be 15k more than what I payed for over a year ago!!! That’s nuts!!

Right, I paid less than current base price for mine in 21.

Why would the '24 order bank open so early? Wasn't it much later for the '23s? Like September 22?

2023 buildout is scheduled for July 28, much earlier in the year than what we just experienced with the start of the 23MY. 2024 production is scheduled to start July 31. This isn't TRX specific, but overall 1500 production at SHAP. Many of you remember how many times the schedule was pushed back for 23MY, so these dates can definitely change.

? Just finished March, waiting for April allocation. Long way from 23 closing, 22 just closed.

Then explained to him that on the trx forum people saying that 23’ ordering is already closed.

He said he would have to call the DSM and get the scoop.

Fuck, i got this email from Amanda today, was gonna order a Blue one looks like I may have missed the boat. Hopefully theyll be reopening but i guess we wont know until it happens

I already have a '22 in red but was looking to swap to a '23 in blue if possible. Was hoping to order cause im not gonna pay MSRP though for one on the lot.

That’s what he was saying. He just received his last 22’ 3 weeks ago. This is in Canada so not sure if it’s all different in the states. I know others have said Canada gets the shit end of the stick for ordering.

If the 2024 production is scheduled for the end of July, then that's similar to the original plan for the 2022 model year (which was ultimately delayed until mid-September). MY2022 orders opened up on May 6, 2021. So it is definitely plausible that the 2024 order banks will open in May 2023.

Which, now that I think about it, is probably what the rep meant (that first reported order banks closing then reopening in May/June, possibly July). They probably meant 2024 order banks at that point.

How would you know if your order went through or not? I ordered mine in the first week of January(Canada) would my dealer get a confirmation right away?

If you received a VIN then you received a vehicle!

Seems like they haven't ordered anything and dealer has you on list for allocation which is a monthly thing.

There isn’t a better feeling in the world. I told myself I would hold out until ‘24 MY……then joined this forum……then had a panic attack reading the threads on here…….then cheered for joy when I received my VIN……Extremely varied emotions there for a couple of days….
