2022 Ram TRX Ordering closed for a while! This thread is for those who already ordered!

The whole pay to play is a bad approach imo. What if I'm a sleazy dealer I pay my fee and I dupe buyers . What can admins do since i paid to post here and the fee is not contingent on my deal to be legit. Better business practice would've been a forum where only dealers post and you as a buyer pay a fee to access it without being able to reply . Pay another fee to msg the dealer and so on. Because you see to save 5k + im fine to spend $20 to see the deal

Got some unfortunate news. The admins of the forums is requiring us to pay money to keep the "commercial" post up! We elected to decline. This means the thread will be taken down in about a week.

I understand the difference perfectly well. But the point is still valid that you came in here kicking up a fuss about how this dealer is taking advantage of the forum because they are profiting without compensating, and you’re doing the exact same thing. You’re extracting value from a product, without compensating the provider of that product for providing you with that value. He’s calling out your hypocrisy.

Since when is paying for a forum the “right” thing? We are all using this forum for information and to save money on TRX purchase's. If I had to pay to be here I would find other sources to get my information and deals.

About the same time forums started to exist it became “the right thing.” These forums that provide you info and the ability to save thousands of dollars, cost actual money to host/run. This is like someone inviting you to dinner at their home and not bringing booze or whatever. It’s not required, it’s still a nice gesture.

If I was running a business out of someones house, I’d also expect to compensate them in some way. I certainly wouldn’t balk when they asked me to cover dinner. $300 for 6 months when making easy six figures(net) seems very reasonable.

I agree with it being reasonable however I just haven’t seen a forum where if you don’t pay they shut down your ability to sell. Most of these deals offered in here were also posted on Facebook (when it works)
