2022 Ram TRX Ordering closed for a while! This thread is for those who already ordered!

looks like no TRX can be ordered because the Ram stopped taking order.
I ordered the black truck pictured above from Kurt and it's been a great experience. As promised he's provided me with almost daily updates on the status of the build (without me asking I might add!). We also worked out a strong number on my trade. He sent me a ton of pictures yesterday right when the truck arrived too which was really cool of him to do. I've purchased a lot of vehicles in my lifetime and no sales guy has ever gone out of their way for me like Kurt.

My guess is that he took it upon himself to get on this forum and offer this deal. I'm sure the sales manager has a budget for advertising/promotion. It's not his fault if management told him not to proceed. If you haven't noticed a high number of other dealers are jumping on the bandwagon now also. Btw, I'm sure a lot of these deals being offered have strings attached. Personally I'm thankful he was on here, he's made the process of buying one of these trucks a lot of fun and got me a better deal than anyone around me is offering.
Agreed Kurt’s been great to work with and super responsive! Can’t wait for my red one to show up !

Your happy you got the deal and didn't get jerked around like other b dealers. That was not the point. He is expected to do the right thing as the selling dealer. The point is he used someone's forum for profit and will not recognize that.

Since when is paying for a forum the “right” thing? We are all using this forum for information and to save money on TRX purchase's. If I had to pay to be here I would find other sources to get my information and deals.

You don't pay to come or join. You come and if you feel it's valuable resource to you, you contribute to keep it going. It's like church where everyone's welcome. But like church you never steal from the collection box.

So because of the forum you were able to save thousands and you wouldn't think that's valuable enough to become a supporting member? Are you the manager at that dealer?

If I had to pay every time something on the internet saved me money, I'd be broke.

Coming across this thread on the forum definitely saved me money, but am I going to sign up for a paid subscription? No. I don't use this forum anywhere near enough to believe that It'd be money well spent, and let's not pretend that every thread on this forum is gold.

I really don't see anything wrong with what's happened here. Kurt is well within his right to choose not to sign up for a 6 month paid commitment, for whatever reason he chooses.

Am I a manager at the dealer? No! I could find the same deals on Facebook too. The same folks advertise there as well. Is this place great yup ! Sharing information is not something everyone usually gets paid for.

I've sold cars/trucks/boats/parts on multiple forums throughout the years and never paid to join those either. I guess I've been stealing from the collection box too. My point is that Kurt is a great guy to work with whether they pay to join this site or not.

So if you could save $5500 and spend $20 for it that wouldn't make sense. That's an equation I'm down for 100 x a day.
Or if someone asked to get paid $300 for advertising that was guaranteed to make me thousands, again all day long I'd take that. If Kurt wanted to help he would pay a fair share and continue to serve the community that's here.
Kurt is refusing a win win situation.....
Again it's common respect for sellers to give a commission for referrals. Usually it's $100-150.
How many trucks did Kurt sell?..... They asked for $50 a month........ No good will, end of story

Do you get the money? Is that why you care so much ?

Yeah, I don't get it either. I really don't get the fuss over this. A business made the decision to charge another business for continued use of the platform, and the other business politely declined. How dramatic.

The ~$2.08/mo I spend here (lulz for starters) is some of my best-spent cash in general. Hell, triple B's efforts alone make it more than worthwhile. You combine that with the moments of comedy gold courtesy of Bambi and others and I'm breaking the piggy bank every year baby.

I just saw it as a kick in the head to the management of the forum and beyond stupid on the dealers part. Thats all. I'm surprised nobody sees it that way too

I take no sides, however…

These off MSRP threads have to be generating new members, more traffic, and a lot more visits to this Forum. All three of these help the forum ownership sell more ads, and make more money.

So I kind of view this move by the admins of the site as hurting them long term. I get that these dealers are advertising the same as the vendors who support and sponsor, no argument there.

I signed up to this forum just to get with Zach at Granger in IA. I had questions for the deal. If he had never posted, would have never even became a member.

Just a different POV.

I'm taking no sides either....I made the personal decision to join....I've always done it with car forums over the years if I own the brand AND get good use from it....this site has been invaluable to me over the past few months so $15 seemed like a no brainer....

I see no issue with the site asking for a fee to post commercially and no problem with them declining....my guess is with so many orders in the books, ordering being put on pause, and $5500 off not being the best deal going they decided it wasn't worth it....Kurt was always professional in my dealings and I wouldn't hesitate to do business with him again.....I'll leave it at that...

If there were a service, hypothetically speaking, that provided a net savings to you on each expenditure, wouldn’t that be a net savings to you and not a loss and, therefore, not contribute to you being “broke”?

It was just a figure of speech my dude.
