Yeah, interesting to see if it works. Videos show they can’t operate the radio system/screen in shipping mode, but maybe the GPS system is still activated?

Yea, I had seem similar. Until the dealer does the PDI and takes it out of shipping mode the truck is very limited functionally.

The other thing is that I would think that the truck would have to be started and be on long enough for the data exchange to occur. Not sure if the trip from the lot to the hauler or whatever transport they use is enough for that to happen. Or maybe there's another step in the process that requires the truck to be on for a while at the factory after being invoiced. But it would certainly be interesting to try it so we know either way.

Based on this article I would think the GPS is functional from them being able to recover most of the stolen Ram's the same day from theft.

Does anyone know if the government CAFE standards have something to do with the up/down rollercoaster production of TRXs. One dealer told me that is why they didn’t make many in 2020. Could stricter standards possibly make things worse in the future for big thirsty trucks? My guess is that only management at FCA knows the numbers.

I was telling Johnny before you got his order I was hoping our trucks would show up around the same time since he had a March delivery. I got another person on Monday that's going to confirm my Feb build as well since my dealer still see's me as D status.

I am pretty sure that in order to register the truck with Uconnect you have to be in the car to enter your email through the vehicles screen, it then sends an email to you and you complete the process at that point.
