17 / 0 TRUCKS FOUND TODAY (3/15/22)

So all you guys/gals are great people and this is an awesome forum, but as each day passes and I have no idea when the hell I'm going to get my truck....I just want to scream at all of you (or anyone who will listen) even though it is no one's fault!!! 🤪🤪

Just sayin.....haha!

A million reasons for a truck to be held in inspection, so without knowing specifics it's all just random guessing. There are plenty of very minor reasons that could also take a long time if the fix is to replace the damaged part and the part isn't available, like maybe the console lid got a big scratch in the leather during install. In this case, the truck is just waiting on a part and not actively being worked on or inspected that entire time.
Just wondered what the going rate is. Mines been in inspection since last Thursday. I have bad luck, and hope it’s nothing serious.

Current TRX wait record is well into triple digits so I wouldn’t sweat it too much at this point. If you really want answers your dealer can work with their regional rep to try to get more details. The big takeaway though is that a long wait doesn’t necessarily mean a serious problem 👍🏼

I got an e-Mail from my dealer that mine arrived last night. So 10 days from WS to dealer. Ahead of the average for Iowa. Dan Deery…my contact there, Cody, has been awesome about communicating every step. Highly recommend them!

EDIT: Typed this before I read the whole thread. Not trying to rub it in, just offering a point of reference! ✌️

Very slow night, 131 window stickers tonight, only 5 were TRX's and none of those were member trucks. (n):cautious:

Would you reckon that the dealerships themselves can work with regional rep on the matter of trucks built, delivery and everything else ? I thought they'd have no connection or whatsoever to the regional rep unless it's about chain of command or else several trucks will be pulled ahead by people with lots of strings

There is definitely a chain of command, and it could very well be different from one dealership to another (ie. how good of an existing relationship they already have) I am speaking only of the experience I have with my dealer and what things they have been able to accomplish. That obviously does not apply to all, but it cant hurt to ask. I would consider asking for an update on your existing order to be very different than asking them to bump you up the priority list and move you to the front of the line.

I get what you mean. Well bumping up order is almost impossible anw. Embarrassed to admit but I did attempt once and was sincerely told that there's not such thing. Let's hope tmr we have some good news for us

How long should the truck be in I Status before there’s worry that something is wrong?
It can take a day to weeks depending on what they need to repair or wait to come in. I wouldn't worry unless it was stuck there for probably 6 to 8 weeks in I status.

I apologize for the stupid question, but I see my build sheet listed. What does this mean for the actual status of the truck? I am kinda lost clearly.:rolleyes:

It means you have been called up to the big leagues…. You made it 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

HAHAHAH just had me laughing in my office. So it is on way to dealer or at dealer?
Build Sheet means your truck has been down the main assembly line, you are now waiting for your Window Sticker (which I post every evening) That will indicate your truck is finished and ready for shipping.
