15 NEW TRUCKS TODAY (12/18/20)

Starting to really wonder what their logic is behind determining which trucks to build and in what order. Seems to be predominately black for now but looks like plenty of carbon fiber and beadlocks.

Makes me wonder if it's more of a dealership priority (sales volumes / customer ratings) vs truck configuration options, perhaps a combination of both... Perhaps location is big influencing factor as well.

At the rate of which they are ramping up production each day I’m hoping no one will have to wait until June that was part of the first initial set of allocations.

I think I read somewhere that standard ram 1500 gets produce about 100 trucks per day off the line. Not sure if that’s a realistic target for the TRX, but sure hope it’s an idea that possibilities and capabilities are there for them to build the TRX trucks quickly

100 per day? They would be out of business, that's only 36,500 per year, that's about a month's worth. Understood multiple plants involved overall ram production, but still.

Where them Silver Billets at?
On a side note, I would have loved to get a factory delivery with a window tour, COVID or not, I would have made the trip there (10 hours from my home) to see the factory in 9 hours there and 8:30 hours on the way back ..
(two speeding tickets per leg incorporated in to the plan)

I got a call today from my dealer my TRX is an inspection. I couldn’t be happier. I hope this doesn’t take forever

Just checked with my salesman for mine. Even though I got the letter from FCA, I am still in "D" status.

My TRX is black and it’s already been painted and is in inspection right now. I got graphics everywhere. Sticker was just over 93k

I'm blue with graphics and I'm February delivery. I'd think build order would be dealer allotment and priority based.

It makes me wonder if they been monitoring the forums and FB Groups seeing so many people pissed off they sent out that blanket email so people would stop letting their orders go because I don't recall a email like this the other times I've had to wait

That is great news! I monitor for window stickers as well so we should know when it has come out inspection and has been invoiced. I believe that’s when the window sticker shows up online.

I attached page 1 so you can see it is your build sheet with the VIN at the top and page 9 where it says Granite Crystal....

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but it looks like your dealer didn't actually switch you to white when you asked

Double check the colors, 783 shows to be Granite Crystal. Apparently he tried to change from Granite to White a week after ordering in August, got confirmation that the change went through with his dealer and the truck still got built as Granite

Aww, crap! For those that were already on the registry, I just used what they had on there rather than searching for it in the build sheet. Of course that would bite me in the ass!
