Usaa called me again today. Asked me if i knew where my truck was. I guess they have not been able to get ahold of the dealership. (Granger)

The finance sept had expected it already. The lady then said that Ram is the manufacturer with the biggest problem when it comes to delayed vehicles and their clients .

Hence why they are willing to write the check to the dealer with just a signed vin. They are in the busienss of loaning money and if clients can’t get the trucks then clients don’t “need” a loan.
(I say need, but at the interest rate involved it’s stupid to not get it)

But she confirmed that ford has delays but she is seeing way more people with way longer delays in the ram groups.

The lowest is 100016, but the first 200-ish were "pilot vehicles". The first "real" TRX is 100209.

It's a long story, but here's the abridged version.
Ordered on 5/20 (with Rebel Level 2 and Rebel 12A). Heard that the 12A package was holding up orders, so asked if I could change to the more expensive Rebel 12 package. Regional rep says "it will be built as ordered". Fast forward to October, it was kicked from D to BG (the factory tinkered with the order, and broke it). Got it reconfigured, but Ram no longer had the same packages. So got it close enough - just missing power-folding mirrors. Fast forward a few more weeks and the factory tinkered with it again and it went back to BG status. Regional rep got involved again, and "got it fixed". But now it doesn't resemble the original order I placed. In fact, it doesn't even list that there's a radio in the truck. It's still sitting in D status. And like many of the other May orders, I think it's just being ignored.

As far as the TRX>Rebel thing, there are a few options that I want/need that aren't available on a TRX.

Ramboxes (to store all my construction gear)
Multi-function tailgate
Air Suspension for towing
Being short enough to fit in my garage

So I'll probably drive the TRX for 6 weeks or so, then make the final call on taking the Rebel.

What is the significance of getting a build sheet? Does that mean your vehicle is done being built?

I would expect that Ram box and multi function tail gate were not designed for the abuse from a 2ft jump.......

216 is not the latest group of orders anymore. I am a 227. I am also a 165 from 8/20 and still in D status. I will not be surprised in the least if my 227 gets built before my 165
