Whipple Supercharger Gen V 3.0

I have completed the install and base tuning on my Whipple Superchargers Gen V 3.0.
Currently I am at 851 whp with only a base tune and 3.75 pulley on E85. Will be turning it up over the next couple of weeks and pulling a lot more power out of it, especially after we install the Ripatuned TTRX (twin turbo). We are expecting over 1,000 - 1100 whp out of this set up.

Currently only running 16 lbs of boost with the pulley that comes with it, a 3.75
As you can see in the photos, the Gen V Whipple 3.0 has 3 times the cooling capacity of the stock blower. I have been running around 105-115 IAT's in 90+ degree hot sunny days I have not really beat on it any at this point, but soon will I can assure you.

I’m very interested in what this blower can do for a low stress safe tune daily driver application. Tuned on 91 and set to deal with extreme desert heat. Plus some occasional towing.

I think you mentioned a 93 tune in another thread. Have you changed your mind or will you be doing that down the road?

In any case I’m excited to see this coming together.

I do not have a 93 tune, I will be straight E85 moving forward unless something drastic happens and I go back to stock. (That will never happen, )

Maybe it was someone else that mentioned a 93 tune. It could be done with 93 and still run 8-900 whp. I have a buddy in AZ that is running this same blower set up with no issues. He hasn’t done a dyno on it yet though, just finihis build last week.

Yup, I’m in Phoenix metro and it’s a special kind of hot here. I’d love to check out his truck sometime. Maybe one day we will finally get the AZ meet up to happen.

Jared Todd with Ripatuned is doing my tuning. He has done all of my tunes from day one and come highly recommended from HP Tuners.

I got mine from Ripatuned. Send a message to Steven Ripa. I think I seen where he has some in stock. I went with a stage 2 kit.

Ripatuned had them but he tried to charge me 10K for the Whipple. 2K upcharge just for having it in stock. No thanks bro. I paid 7700.

I'll be shooting for 1000 wheel, blower only. From there, not sure yet. Depends on how she handles on the road.

Do you have stock internals? My biggest concern shooting over 1000 wheel is how the rods will hold up, they seem to be the biggest potential failure point.

I have spent a lot of money with Ripa, so I was able to get it a lot less than $10k. I got everything that is in the pictures below and air box, ductwork and so on.

I do have stock internalls at this time. I understand that they are good for over 1k, maybe 12-1300. We shall see soon enough

Yeah I'm considering drop in rods and pistons, the part that stings is the install from me not doing it myself. The labor cost I was quoted is 2X the cost of the hardware.

Waiting does suck! I ordered my TTRX kit a few months ago and most of it arrived Saturday and the last 2 items are scheduled for delivery tomorrow. I am so excited to get them installed.

I have AR headers now and will be replacing them with shorty headers for the turbos to fit where they go. If you know anyone looking for headers I will be selling these. I have about 4-5k miles on them. Cheaper than new and no wait, I have them in stock, lol
