We converted our attached two car garage into living space a few years ago (replaced bay doors with French doors and added a mud room…excellent decision). Meanwhile I haven’t missed having a garage UNTIL I placed my order in December. Now built ready to ship. And of course breaking ground on its new home sometime this month…

That looks like a missed opportunity for a 3 car garage... 😐😂

I'm looking to make something about 3 times the size of your building to house my TRX and other vehicles. My TRX is too tall for my double garage and the pollen is getting on my nerves. My main issue is trying to get some land out of a flood plane before I can get started

Mine has to sit in the back of resto shop as my 3 car is too tight and I can’t take chance of kids dinging it...

My existing garage wasn't long enough for my TRX...and even if it did fit, there would barely be enough room to open the truck doors or walk around in the garage. My garage addition was just finished last month...now there's plenty of room for the truck. The next step is to have the floor done and purchase cabinets, workbenches, etc.

This is both comforting and disconcerting at the same time! Comforting because I'm not the only one dealing with possibly having to leave a TRX outside due to not fitting in a garage, but disconcerting because sounds like a lot of guys are just building garages to fit them, which is not an option for me. I'm struggling with parking a $90k+ vehicle outside, but current state would be forced to do so. How are folks dealing with parking outside? Car covers? Washing it more? Constantly staring out the window? In other words, is it unreasonable to consider parking one outside?

When I bought my Raptor, I had to replace my doors to taller ones... My TRX fit, so no additional action (at this time) needed...

Looks good OP... You too @Brudish!👍🇺🇲

Another option for you (and others) to consider: Steel-roof carport. Way less than a real garage of course, but decidedly better than just parking outside. Will keep the sun/rain/hail/crap mostly off the truck. I priced out one big enough for just the truck online (random company), 3-sided (roof and left/right walls, but with both ends open and no doors), at ~$4400. Yeah that's $4400 more than just parking in the driveway, but WAY less $ than a full garage and probably an acceptable trade off on bang-for-buck.

I had to remove some drywall, a few studs and install a header to gain 3" and make it fit.
But the biggest issue for me, is leaving a TRX or any Hellcat vehicle outside. You are an easy target for thieves !!!!!!!!!!!!

I am jealous of each of you!!! Mine is parked in the driveway and will be for the next few years at least, until we move again. I don't have the space to build more garage. (n)

Nothing against my neighbors, I just wish they were much further away! I have tried to buy the land directly behind my house, but the guy just isn't interested in selling currently so I am stuck in the driveway for the time being. 🤷‍♂️

The math says mine will fit with about 3/4" to spare on the front and back with the door closed. If not it will live in the driveway and take the chances with hail and thievery I guess.
