Hello everyone, as everyone knows the 2023 order banks closed today. I was hoping it was just a small closing window but I just got confirmation from our rep that the 23MY order banks are officially closed for the year. The 24MY order banks are expected to open sometime this summer. Not date is released yet. If I get any new info I will let everyone know.

Damn. I wonder how many ‘23s will get made. I imagine that the HC motor is dead.

I wonder if the same will happen as did in 22'? They announced that the order books were closed and I continued to find new orders for about 3 weeks after that, nearly 2500 more TRX orders got accepted after that time.

23' will be the smallest year to date, BY A LONG WAY if this is it. Currently less then 5K of them to build as of today.

As someone with a truck in D status, this makes me happy. Well, as far as silly Internet truck things go.

The end times for the Hellcat Platform is tough to watch. I remember when they initially released the Hellcat in the Challenger. A 707hp car!!! What a glorious thing. Then the Charger, Trackhawk, and Durango followed. And of course Ram gave Ford the ultimate middle finger with the TRX in 2021. Of all the platforms I’ve experienced and studied on line, the Hellcat has always come out on top as my favorite. I’m not a Super Car guy, nor am I a luxury brand guy. I need a vehicle that is comfortable as a daily driver, as well as tow the boat, take me to the woods, and deal with crappy winter roads. Honestly I’m lucky to have my 2021 TRX. The $20,000 price increase between it and 2023 makes the truck too expensive to justify (it was hard to justify as it was).

My hope is Ram can find a way to continue the TRX, maybe with some sort of hybrid setup (the new hybrid Corvette with AWD is impressive)? I just hate watching what’s happening to vehicles. The soul of vehicles are being stripped away right in front of us.

Good, hopefully they ramp up the builds and get my truck sooner

An absolute shame that this EV hoax is taking over and all this awesome muscle is coming to an end. Sad times and may end up being the demise of the car industry. Driving a plug in appliance will destroy the passion and make the automobile just a commodity as the rest of the world typically views them

Not massively surprising! Do we know when more news on the '24 TRX will be out?

This pretty much seals the fact that the Hellcat is done this year. My guess is they built as many hellcats as they could before ramping up production of the Hurricane and that’s why they closed the 23’s. Again I am so happy I joined this forum and listened to the doomers and didn’t hold out for a ‘24 MY!

I wonder how many or IF they will have any complete crate motors in stock for future warranty work, they will start to command a high price by 2030,,,,,lol

They will.
The HC engine will LIVE ON ! In replacements and crates for the foreseeable future. Just not in production vehicles.
Buy a couple of crate RE engines and put them on a shelf.

Isnt that the truth! I will not go full soap box political, cuz that is the quickest way to get a thread shut down. But.............
US citizens loose freedom(s) because of a hoax??????? Not good.

Thanks for taking care of me last year! You guys are awesome. I was sitting here thinking about how this week made one year exactly that I started the discussion about placing an order with you guys and becoming a TRX owner. Love the TRX, and this sweet engine/transmission combo, but was thinking about a different color.

Was going to reach out and see about a 2023 order later this week. Haha. Guess this solves that dilemma. Granite for the win!

I whole heartedly second that statement!! I was going to wait to order in Spring or Summer of this year. I am so very happy that I kept my ear to the ground, did lots of research on this truck from the very beginning and pulled the trigger early. What really helped was Knight Mare's video on this subject.

I’d be a buyer if they would release a Dakota TRX with the Hurricane. That would be a fun little truck.

A Dakota TRX would actually be FUN!
