WTB/ISO Cornerstone cold air intake

Willing to talk about purchasing a lightly used or great condition Cornerstone intake. Sick of the loud whine and want to return to stock? I’m your man to take the cornerstone off your hands. I’ve been calling Cornerstone for about 7 months and I don’t think they will have their intake in stock for the foreseeable future. The guy has had issues finding a fabricator all year long. Thought he had one last month and would start producing them, then they went out of business, so now Cornerstone is back to the drawing board. Lost hope on new stock and don’t like anything else out there that still uses the hood scoop. Let me know if you have one available and let’s discuss.

Bump. Anyone have a Cornerstone or Gearhead fabricators intake they want to sell?

Cornerstone doesn’t make them anymore or went out of business.

I just missed Gearhead’s last 2 intakes by a couple days and I just confirmed with them via email that they aren’t making them anymore (currently) due to material costs.

As of now, assuming I can’t get either above, I’m now leaning towards a JMB or AFE Magnum.

JMB: any concerns with IAT temps or overall overheating? Or am I overthinking not having the hood scoop air coming in directly to the intake. JMB is beautiful, exposes blower and motor, can do custom color, and awe-inspiring sound, but no hood scoop air.

AFE Magnum: how loud is it? Still utilizes hood scoop. Covers blower/motor more than I want but less than other AFE or S&B. I see some on here with the magnum and would like feedback. If it still produces a loud whine, and still uses hood scope air with no issues on IAT, seems safer option to me.

One last thing I just thought of: what if aftermarket scene grows with new 2027 TRX and a new intake comes out. Any potential for that anyone think?

I’ve been looking at intakes for a long time and just indecisive at this point because I can’t get what I originally wanted. Any help, feedback appreciated.

I think you are overthinking the overheating (funny wording there)

If you can’t get what you want (cornerstone) then just pick second choice. If you want loud blower go open intake, if you want to retain hood scoop pick one of the others.

I know the afe momentum gt is not on your list, but as another comparison it did increase blower whine by a decent amount. So I imagine the magnum would be an even greater increase. Also my buddy has ripatuned intake which is completly open and in my opinion annoyingly loud. He loves it, but it’s too much for me.

Thanks, I guess the answer to this question would help me decide, does the magnum satisfy/produce louder whine enough? Obviously won’t be as loud as just an open/tube intake, which could be fine, if magnum scratches the itch

Unless you are off-roading go open intake. I put on the S&B first and while it was an overall improvement I still wanted more. Have the Bwoody on now and some people say its the loudest on the market. All subjective because I wish it was louder.

I have basically had them all and the Bwoody was the loudest. I have the JMB and it looks great and I have not seen much higher temps.

I am swapping filters to AFE so well see if it adds some sound to it as I want it loud as can be. After the headers won't matter much as I won't be able to hear anything but the exhaust.
