Got it, I will check for the state law but does anyone know what percentage 10 today is currently on the back windows coming from the factory?
. . .any reputable tint installer in your area will be able to confirm the %. Some will not install darker than what the law allows.

I ended up doing 5% all around and 50% on windshield. With 5% over the rears, their meter said 1%. It’s pretty dark and at night it’s tough to see but being a family hauler on trips in Florida, it helps keep heat out of the back seat, especially important for rear facing car seats

Did you get the digital rear view mirror?

That's how I justified 5% on the back half of the truck 😄

My blue 21 had 20% on the front two and 5% on the back 3. My white 22 had 5% on all.

Just got her back with 15% over the factory on all windows and 35% on the windshield (ceramic). I love the look and it is so much cooler inside the truck. I live in FL and truck doesn’t fit in the garage.

Does anyone know what percent tint on the back windows? I’m thinking of doing my front windows to match dont know what the percentage tint was?
The factory class is somewhere around 20% on the back. What I do on all my vehicles is 15% on the back and sides, and 55% for the entire front glass. This is dark enough that you can only see shadows looking in, but not so dark that you can’t see when driving. 55% on the front means you don’t need sunglasses as often and it really cuts down oncoming lights at night.

Lots of opinions here and not sure any of them are right or wrong. i just had mine tinted when I had my PPF and ceramic coating done by a guy who has done this for 30 years. He said the factory tint on the back when you put the meter on it is about 18%. So, he did the fronts on mine at 20% which he says lets thru about 15-18% light on the meter. It appears ever so slightly lighter than the backs, but I had 15% on my Limited and it was slightly darker than the backs. I don't think there is a "perfect" match, but I tend to go a little lighter vs. darker as I get older to see better at night. My opinion could also be completely wrong, but this is what someone with a lot of experience told me.

I'll be doing mine the same as I do every vehicle. Llumar F1 Pinnacle, 25% on the fronts and 50% on the rears and pano. It matches pretty dang close on all FCA products.

I'm surprised any state can regulate what you put on the back, or rear passenger glass, given that full panel vans are legal everywhere.

For reference, I had Formula One Pinnacle 30% installed on the front windows on my TRX. I didn't want the rear windows tinted because my dog rides back there at times and the tint would get scratched. Their 30% up front matched up very closely with the factory tint in the rear.
