Will we ever see a Second Gen TRX?!

A second Gen TRX?!?
Heck the Gen 5 1500 came out in '19, and it looks like the 2500/3500 will get into Gen 5 in '28.

In other words, I seriously doubt there will be a Gen 6 TRX. Sure, they can put some whiz-bang electric crap into the current platform, but then it wouldn't really be a TRX anymore, would it?

And what trajectory would that be? Fossil fuel is unlimited at the current rate of use over the next hundred years and we're constantly increasing the efficiency of both it's extraction and refinement.
Yeah, I’m not saying we should ditch fossil fuels at all… but look at all of the laws passed in nearly every major country & the direction of every major auto manufacturer. Big, gas-guzzling engines are pretty much dead. Everything is going electric or to small, fuel-efficient engines. That’s our trajectory whether we like it or not. Just because we can produce oil for the next 100+ years doesn’t mean that politicians seeking climate change brownie points won’t try to pass more regulations making it harder to do so.

A few manufacturers are still developing internal combustion engines (ie: Porsche) alongside sustainable fuels that are supposed pollute less. This may prove to be the only chance we have to keep “big” engines in production as they’ll be utilizing fuels that are deemed “safe” by the braindead politicians who are passing these regulations.

Bring back the Dakota with trx suspension and the hurricane engine. Would be a great package imo

I'd buy that. The TRX is awesome but definitely a bigger truck than I need/want most of the time. The midsize trucks are a great size but all of them are absolute dogs performance wise and don't even get good fuel economy to go with the lack of performance.

Sounds like you need one of these.

Honestly I feel like they nailed the TRX and they really don't need to change anything. Every time I walk out to mine since I got it in march I'm like damn they nailed this truck and I wouldn't change a thing! except for the brakes which I upgraded....

What brakes did you upgrade to?

I’d take an extra 100hp backed by factory warranty…
